STD's And a making the mouth healthy

I'm looking into becoming part of the trade, picked up the Lawrence book (got it yesterday, went through half of it in one night-- think Im' interested? ;-) )

 

I got to the part about STD's.. it's a risk, but I want to make it minimal by practicing good healthy habits.

I got a little spooked by all the ones that were mentioned. I don't believe I've ever gotten any of them.

 

To anyone out there who escorts who could give me a few suggestions, what do you use to keep a healthy mouth, and if the sores come (canker and otherwise), what do you use? Do you stop seeing clients when the sores come?

I love to oral and kiss.. don't want to put a damper on those activities.

I'm pretty sure that this subject has been broached before, but I had a hard time finding the postings in searches I did under STDs and healthy mouth.

Having a healthy and clean mouth really adds to your appeal as an escort. Just ask any client like me:P

I'd add that while daily oral hygiene is important, so is its timing. It's not a good idea to brush -- and especially not to floss -- right before you're about to do any cocksucking or deep kissing. Otherwise you're creating tiny cuts and abrasions on the gums which can be hospitable to STDs. The recommendation I've always heard is that you should wait four to eight hours after brushing before you suck and smooch. There are plenty of other breath-freshening strategies you can use right before the date to make sure your mouth tastes good, like Listerine strips, mouthwash, gum, etc.

I agree with you Devon, that's why I floss in the morning, and I never engage in sex right after eating (after which I brush my teeth). I mostly have dates in the evening and right before he arrives, I mouthwash with an non-alcohol mouthwash (OralB is a good choice).

 

When I floss in the morning I always check to see that there is no blood on the dental floss. Even with healthy gums, from time to time you will get a little trace of blood on the dental floss. When this happens (thankfully not often), I don't have oral sex that day and wait till flossing produces no traces of blood.
