for this clients who hire often, do you use a separate phone line just for hiring? Like one of those prepaid ones? Or do you just use your regular cell phone?

Only ever my regular cell phone. Which is my personal, business (self-employed) and only phone #. Never any issue in 13 years of so doing.

for years, I've used a separate pay-as-you-go trac-style phone from Target that needs a recharge card every couple or three months.....pay cash.....I think you might need to register it the first time, but I used fake info and it took it.....yeah, a little discrete/discreet here!!!

 

reminds me of the funny story somebody told here once of both client and escort being so careful/discreet/paranoid that they just sat in separate rooms and talked sexy back and forth until both were satisfied!.....was just a story, I think!!

I use Google Voice. That provides a local telephone number that is transferred to my private cell phone. I value my privacy and I can count on the fingers of 2 hards the number of non-family people that have my personal number.

Yes, you can text with google voice. You can do it with your computer from the browser or using the Google voice app on your phone.
