Interesting...thanks Rik. I got the S5 about 6 months ago because the camera was visibly better than my old iphone, Sprint has said they will cut me a deal on a new S6, and make the transition painless (whatever that means)...Nice phone and I liked the camera, but at this point I think I'll spend the money on upgrading my camera.

I can only say, in my opinion, because I've used both phones. The S6 Is Better. But as with all technology, give it a few months & something else will come out.

It does look totally cool, but I wonder if I'd be happier with the Galaxy Note EDGE, with its larger screen? I have the Galaxy Note 2 now, and I think it would be difficult to revert to a smaller screen.

Plus, damn! We have the same camera! Mine has a crack in the case and it still works... If you could still buy the film that is!

I recently upgraded from the s3 and, in addition to the enhanced screen resolution, I am experiencing much longer battery life from the s6 edge.

While the S6 edge has a great display it's not that much different from the Note4 and other than the curved display the screen looks the same to me as the Note 4. The biggest negatives are it has no removable battery and no option to add more storage via a memory card like the Note 4, 3,2 etc.

I agree. The battery being non-removable almost deterred me. It is only my satisfaction with the s3 that enticed me to go with the s6 edge.
