I had a huge crush on Jon-Erik Hexum back in the day. His death at age 26 was such a tragic loss.

I had a huge crush on Jon-Erik Hexum back in the day. His death at age 26 was such a tragic loss.

 

Jon-Erik was really something special. His death was a one in a million accident. There's always the next hot guy on TV, but Hexum lingers in many 1980s memories.

Jon-Erik and Joe Penny were hot. I wanted them both.

 

Jon-Erik's replacement, Antony Hamilton, was hot too. Really hot. Antony and Jon-Erik were opposites in looks. If only one could have a sandwich with them.

Jon Erik's was not a one in a million accident. It was tragic. It was a loss of a young man's life. In fact however, he took a gun, and pulled the trigger not realizing that the concussive force of a blank shot at one's head at point blank range, can still do major damage and cause death. If someone else were to do that, the result was likely be the same. So not really an accident so much as an expected outcome of a planned act in which the consequences were not understood. And yes he was very very very very very very hot. And unfortunately uninformed in this particular area.

Ken Wahl from the TV series Wiseguy. His handsome features caused me to stop channel surfing and watch. The show was as good as he was hot !

I remember watching "Simon & Simon" only because I had the hots for Gerald McRaney. My roommate teased me because she knew I watched it only because "You think he's cute. I can't believe you're watching this silly show because you have the hots for this guy!" I maintained sheepish silence. She added, "You really think he's that cute? Pretty blonds aren't your type." As soon as I gave her a weird look, she realized I had the hots for Gerald McRaney, and her head exploded, "What?!?! Oh my God, he's like FIFTY!!" (I was still in my early 20s at the time.) I guess that's when I came out to her as a daddy-lover, LOL!

 

I was also addicted to "Quantum Leap," mostly because I had a crush on Scott Bakula, plus they managed to shove a gratuitous shirtless scene into almost every episode ...

What about Keanu Reeves? I saw Keanu with his band, Dogstar, play a few times in Philadelphia. I do not remember a lot about "Point Break." But, Keanu was very sexy in person back then.

Yes, you're right. Keanu is a hottie. My favorite Keanu movies are the "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" comedies.

 

Another actor I fondly remember from the 80s is Rob Lowe. For your consideration here he is in a jockstrap in the movie Youngblood:

Antony Hamilton was very hot! I used to see him at various parties in LA. And Poolboy is correct, Antony was in fact insatiable. To the point it got him in trouble.
