Just make sure that the guy totally knows what he is going. You must have total trust and confidence in the person as you will theoretically be in a compromised situation. I once watched a demo where something indeed went awry and the person in charge was able to undo the restraints easily because they were configured in such a manner to facilitate their removal in the event that something went wrong... and what went wrong was that the victim passed out because he was totally overwhelmed by the situation.

 

Unfortunately I have heard of situations where the sub actually was injured because the Dom did not take such precautions. For a first time meeting I would try something simple such as being lightly restrained on a bed... in a safe and flat position... as opposed to being tied in an upright position... or heaven forbid a suspension scene.

 

While I have played the sub in such situations, I am not the biggest fan of being totally restrained. Also, when being the Dom I have kept things quite simple as I don't consider myself a pro when it comes to bondage. Meetoo691 I was in the same position as you last year and posted something similar on the Fetish page here. I've always been interested in bondage but honestly don't know which role I would prefer. I received some great advice and ultimately decided to hire one of the best known fetish escorts listed here. It was a multi-hour evening. After we were done I felt like I had learned a lot as he brought quite a few of his toys/tools and took the time to show them to me and show me how they worked. We tried some of them briefly (like the paddles).

 

Ultimately (in case you're wondering if I'm going to have a point to this), what I discovered is that it would probably take numerous sessions to really explore and figure out what worked for me.
