We all know MassageM4M plants 'masseurs' that really don't exist, they are just a ruse for you to buy the privates pics and videos. Do you suspect they go even farther and post reviews for some loser masseurs to give them exposure and cred?

I gave up on the "reviews" at all those M4M, massage, rentboy et al sites long ago......the practice of only showing bad reviews to paid members, ability to delete bad reviews, etc., etc. destroys any credibility those sites have re: reviews.....

I never even look at the reviews anywhere but here.....

On a related topic-looking at Rentmen-they are beginning to publish reviews. A friend from the Forum told me he tried to publish a negative review-but Rentmen has some kind of notice that as they are just starting the reviews-they don't think it's fair for a first review to be negative. So they are holding up printing negative reviews until the escort has several reviews listed.

And what if they are all negative?

I was wondering that too.

Yes, they have fake accounts that are employees of the company that make up reviews for their fake masseurs. Some of those fake accounts always write glowing reviews of real masseurs too, so it's all suspicious. a review on MassageM4m is the least reliable. I trust masseurfinder more.

I think the rationale is that the escort/masseur is a client of the site and pays for the ad.

I don't know whether massageM4M plants reviews, but I do know many of the reviews don't address the actual massage.

There was something in the message from Rentmen-I can't remember exactly-but something about if the reviews were all bad, they would contact the escort about removing his ad.

Ok I just looked at Rentmen-the notice says-if they receive three negative reviews-they will contact the escort privately-to see whether he wants to remove his ad before they publish the three negative reviews.

"If I could give [name of fake masseur] 100 stars I would. The massage was unbelievable!"

That's right, we don't believe it.

Any honest, bad, experience I've ever written was never made public for others to see or use. I've also given nice/positive reviews with a slight constructive criticism that the masseur has even erased.

For masseurs on massagem4m.com with less reviews you can tell when they've deleted a review by seeing, for example that they have 3 total reviews in the system, but you can only read the one positive experience.

This really needs to change.

I've started refusing to hire guys who have more reviews than are available for all to read. I figure that if the masseur has something to hide, it probably isn't a good sign.

I pretty much view all M4M ads with a healthy dose of skepticism, especially the ones that have WAY too many private photos up for 'sale.' Although there are exceptions to this rule, for example Eli in NY who has tons of reviews that I can believe since I have gone to him, and who now sports private photo albums showing his goods.

I do not think the company creates fake massage account but who knows as they receive a cut on the pvt galleries. I was thinking that a person creates an account for the purpose of creating the pvt galleries as well as the pvt videos then they can make money off of that. They person does not see clients as a masseur, but may receive a check once a month from the galleries. BUT to post an ad one must pay about 90.00 a month.. Lets hope they are making more than that from the pvt galleries.

I am skeptical of masseurs that have reviews from people who have only one review to their name. Yes, the site maintains fake profiles that charges to see private photos and/or videos. You can always tell the fake profiles, because your call(s) are never returned.

Also, it's a sign that they are trying to hide certain reviews by placing the best reviews at the top as 'featured reviews', so that the usual browser will only see the 'featured reviews'
