That is a very fair question. First of all, I question his taste level. He was a Joseph Smileuske-featured model and captain of his college's rugby team. What is the source of these statistics? I'd challenge the notion that gay escort appointments are generally researched and booked in advance. It is probably fair to say a good number of man-on-man escort appointments are researched/booked in advance, but it seems a stretch that they are "generally" arranged in that fashion.

I for one was nervous as shit booking my first appointments, so they were long contemplated and considered. Still are. Final agreement may have been at the last minute, but I'm not one to call up and say, 'See you in five minutes'. To be fair, exceptions for some escorts on here, but no names no pack drill!

My source of information about TS escort appointments is not scientific. My (former) escort friend let his TS hooker use his apartment for a weekend and that is what happened: all 'last minute' appointments, appointments that didn't last long (20 minutes typically) and mostly between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. He asked him/her about it and apparently that hiring pattern seems to be the norm. Needless to say, the TS hooker had to take his/her business elsewhere - my friend just couldn't get any sleep while he/she was conducting her business at night.

 

My information about the hiring process for man-to-man escort appointments is, first of all, my own experience and more importantly, reading multiple posts on this forum in which information about specific escorts is solicited. In fact, it seems to be one of the main reasons this message board exists. It seems to me that the people on this board tend to do some research at least and have some back-and-forth conversations before hiring. Again, this is not scientific but a general impression that I have.

 

I will say that back in the 1990s in NYC, there were a few bars where escorts used to hang out, looking for clients to meet. Those were more 'impromptu' appointments but at least you met the person 'live' and possibly had a drink or a chat with him. You asked me a fair question and I don't want to honest with you: the reason is - I felt threatened by the whole thing. Isn't that weird? I have been hiring escorts for 20+ years. This is the one guy I felt a very genuine attraction to, other than purely sexual attraction. And then I felt threatened by him sleeping with TS hookers. Can't explain it myself.
