Saw it off broadway. The crowd seemed to enjoy it a lot more than I did. I thought it went long.

Hand to God has received 5 Tony nominations.... If you weren't offended by the Book of Mormon, then, you'll be fine with this irreverent play... It's silly/funny and even might inspire you to purchase a puppet. Excellent cast that has so many challenges tossed at them. Jason/Tyrone (puppets name) played by Steven Boyer is amazing and steals the show. I enjoyed it but don't know why.

 

I agree with Kevin that it was a bit long and the ending is dark and strange.

This is a very funny show but perhaps not for everyone. I laughed a lot.
