So, back to the OP’s original question “How hard would it be for rb to verify scort pix????”

 

It wouldn’t be difficult at all. There are members of this message forum that find fake pics in RB ads in about 30 seconds. But don’t hold your breath waiting for RB to do this. I’m guessing the scammers account for a sizable portion of RB’s revenue, so why would RB kill the golden goose by monitoring adherence to their own terms and conditions?.

 

Perhaps it is time for a concerned party to contact Rentboy and suggest that they implement a picture verification system.

Well I started this thread and NOW after reading all the info that's been posted I sadly agree that it will never happen. THEIR customers are the scorts not us.

HOWEVER, GOING BACK TO MY ORIG POST SUGGESTION: They COULD charge scorts an xtra 5$ or something TO be verified that way as an OPTION, the real deals will see it as a PLUS, as WE will, and it will not eliminate the fake pic scammer income who will still be able to run their ads (and claim their pix are real they just didn't wanna pay :-)

yikees! "suspension of disbelief" is the phrase i meant above. Damn that limited re-edit time-frame!

 

Hey Ares, it looks like the new software update does away with that auto sign-out. As long as I don't log off, it seems to keep me signed on for as long as I am here, so no more limited re-edit time if you don't log off (I think? hope!!)

Rentboy used to have a list of photographers in various cities. I was listed in D.C. I would receive photo shoot requests from escorts and would shoot their photos for a fee. Nos the escorts just use their cell phones or whatever and Rentboy wants to charge for the photographers listings. Butch from PlanetJockBoys brings guys by once in a while for photos. Maybe Rentboy could affiliate with a few photographers around the country.
