I came across a young certified masseur's profile offering sensual/erotic massage at a rate of $80/90 min. Too good to be true right?

So I texted him and asked if he has extra charges (for extras), he didn't even bother replying to that. I've had bad experience before getting extorted on a massage table and definitely wanna rule out such possibility again. Do you guys have similar experiences?

I agree that a la carte pricing and last-minute up-charges can be very annoying. I've also run across a couple of masseurs who simply have ridiculously low pricing, but offer a great experience with no unexpected fees. So, when I run across someone with low prices, I approach the situation with heightened skepticism, but I don't rule them out completely.

That rate is more in line with what we should expect for a legitimate massage. As corndog has noted, you can find masseurs who offer those rates for a sensual or erotic service. You've suggested that it might be advertised as a minimum rate, which in turn implies that there may be additional charges for nudity or a sensual or erotic experience. Since the situations vary I'd just try to be as clear as possible with your expectations and see if the masseur tells you that the fee adjusts upward.

thats what i was trying to find out from the masseur and he never bothered answering. i don't mind additional charges as long as they are stipulated ahead of time.

in his ad he advertised his massage as sensual/erotic so it wasn't me who's imagining things.

80/90 a MINUTE? that sounds pretty expensive to me. 30 minute would be what...2400

The rate charged by someone giving a massage varies widely--especially within a given geographic market area. In my market, I use http://www.masseurfinder.com as the guide for the therapeutic/sensual/"custom" services offered by providers. Therapeutic, if you figure that this is the "basic" model, then should, in my market cost between $1.00 and $1.25 per minute for either a 60 or 90 minute session. Sensual, the next level up on the service menu usually adds another $25.00 to $50.00 per session and the "top of the line" "Custom" offering is about $130.00 to $160.00. I have an excellent provider who charges $75.00 per hour for a "Custom" session on Masseur Finder. If one looks at the ads on either Craigslist or Back Page, then pricing is all over the board and there is absolutely no guarantee of anything--buyer beware!!. Interestingly enough, I have found providers (masseurs to escorts) who advertise on either Craigslist and/or Back Page that also advertise on Rentboy and Masseur Finder. In that case, it may be interesting to look at the price differential and respond to the ad with the lower price (provided the masseur and/or escort is someone you want to meet). In this "hobby" there are all sorts of "vendors" and "outlets", so it is wise to be careful and ALWAYS think with the brain on the top of your shoulders (the one that won't lie to you) as opposed to the brain down low (who will ALWAYS lie to you).....
