RyanDean do, if you can, try and make the Palm Springs Event. As someone relatively new here I'm sure you will find it very enjoyable and just down right fun. I have been attending for ten years and can truthfully say I look forward to it more and more each year. It is great to be able to spend time with other guys who share our rather unusual hobby. The introductory dinner, at a local restaurant, Saturday evening is a great ice breaker and since it is a bit later this year the weather should be warm and the poor refreshing.

Thanks, Epigonos, for that.

I am also pleased to report that, as of this evening, it's looking likely that I will make the trek.

And if I were to be thinking about two nights in PS, I'm guessing Sat/Sun would be the two to plan for?

Those are the two nights Wayne and I will be there. There might be something going on Friday as well, but Saturday and Sunday are the ones we don't want to miss!

Already Booked My Hotel At The Hard Rock Hotel for the event as I do have a special guest(who's a woman actually) who is coming with me. However - this special guest you guys are gonna love as she is well known in the gay community in NYC with Rentboy.com. All set and ready to go. Count me in!!!

Very happy to hear there will be a PS Weekend! And, Oliver, so sorry to hear that you have been ill, but very happy to hear that you are on the mens.....I mean, mend! I too, had a rough time health-wise - hence, my absence from the Forum. But, I am doing much better.

I'm planning a quick trip to Palm Springs in March. And, if everything goes as planned, I'll be living in PS by the time of the PS Weekend! Anything I can do to help or host, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hey guys, I spoke with Matt Sizemore today (manager of Helios), & he informed me that he would like to extend a discount to all of us involved in the weekend, that choose to stay at Helios.

Is there a second option besides Helios?

There are plenty of second options besides Helios. You can't throw a rock in Palm Springs without hitting a gay resort.

I highly recommend Chaps Inn. It's around the corner from Helios. I've stayed there several times, and have always been very impressed.

and there is a short cut through the parking lot right next door to the Helios.

May I make a suggestion to any of you guys who are planning on attending the Palm Springs Weekend for the first time. Before you decide on your hotel (gay resort) check it out first on tripadvisor. The diversity of gay accommodations in Palm Springs is immense. They include everything from the plush to the plain and dowdy and everything from the sedate to the over the top wild and rowdy. There will undoubtedly be a place that will fit your exact needs and expectations but if you are traveling any distance to get to Palm Springs you won't want to be disappointed with the hotel you select. When is comes to selecting a hotel in Palm Springs it is a lot like selecting an escort -- do your research and then do even more research.

You might be interested in Desert Paradise. It's located in the Warm Sands area along with many other gay guest houses. You can call and ask for Ron and tell him that you have been referred by a "regular guest" and I am sure that he'll take care of you. I don't know if he'll be able to offer any special rates, but you can always ask. I am in the Palm Springs area, feel free to PM me if I can be helpful.

HOORAYYYYY CHRIS!!!! AWESOME!!

Looking forward to seeing you. I'm staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, but the Inndulge is very nice. :). So happy your coming, Chris as this is great news. Had an awesome time with you at the Luncheon in DC as your a lot of fun to be with and funny as hell. LOL. Let's see if we can stir up some trouble in Palm Springs like we did in DC. LOL. Wink. Hope Legendary Dave coming along with you from DC as we need some of hot studs from the east coast to invade the west coast. LOL. Palm Springs maybe a bigger turn out then the one in DC possibly from the looks of things. Very excited from what I can see - it's going to be a lot of fun this year in Palm Springs. :)

I am trying to make flight arrangements out of Boston on Saturday so i might be there for the dinner. There are few things I would fly cross country for these days. This party and the man I am meeting are two of them, not in that order.
