I got my French Rugby parcel in the mail today....much to my disappointment my DVD player won't play it because the disc is coded for region 2...son of a bitch. I didn't even think to check on that when I ordered...thinking with my dick I suppose, LOL

Stupid greedy Hollywood bastards anyway and their damn coding. Suppose I need to find a Player that reads all codes, my buddy in Australia tried to send me some DVDs before and I had the same problem then.

Oh well guess I'll just go jack off to the calender :-p~

Did you try watching it in your PC? I had the same problem once with a DVD bought abroad but was able to watch it in my PC XP w/c gives you the option to choose the region. Good luck.

A feature in the Bay Area Reporter this week said this should work on a computer's DVD ROM player.

Your computer's player is only supposed to be able to change regions five (5) times, then it will lock and you would have to replace the drive to change it again. There used to be utilities to let you change them however much you wanted, but newer drives are supposed to be 'more secure'. Grr!
