Smallville's Tom Welling

Since I am not a reader of Tiger Beat or related magazines, I have no information about the super cute superboy on the WB. Does anyone know if he is really very cute in person, or is it just makeup and super-blue contact lenses?

I have never seen an interview of him, never seen his name in the gossip columns, or even a Calvin Klein ad.

Is this guy real?

Can't answer that for sure, but I will say he's in some reruns of the show Judging Amy and looks just as good there (dunno if his eyes are blue or not though). *shrugs* So if you're wondering if they just make him look good for his role as Clark, nope. Since he was a model before the show or so I've heard, I'd guess he must really have a killer body. (Sorry I can't answer more directly, but thought you might like my two cents anyway - lol).

Tom was born on April 24, 1977. He went to high school Okemos High School at Okemos, Michigan where he graduated at 1995. Born and raised in New York, Tom is fairly new to the acting world. He did some modeling for the Louisa Modeling agency He performed in a few high school theater productions before recently moving to Los Angeles to pursue a proffessional career. With his good looks and attitude, Tom has the potential of becoming the next big teen star.

 

His first big break was landing six epsodes in Judging Amy last season playing "Rob the karate instructor" opposite Amy Brenneman in a romantic role that drew raves. He landed the role of Kent after a nationwide search for a fresh face to play the part of young Clark Kent.

 

Tom currently resides in Los Angeles. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing basketball with friends, and running. He also admitted to the WB that he currently has a girlfriend. Don't worry Tom fans. Just remember: "It's not like they're married,"

That's a pretty timely article since it speaks to the very question I raised. He's married? I guess there will be super-babies on the way then! Wish I was around in 20 years to see how they look!
