gallahadesquire, I have had my eye on Max's ads for some time, but for some reason I keep hesitating for 2 or 3 reasons that come across to me as red flags.

 

1) Ad is very similar to another guy (Adam Super Beef) http://rentmen.com/adamsuperbeef (both Adam and Max are running ads in San Diego right now but recently were also both in DC) Note - his phone number is 6468079356

3) I recall past comments about Adam/MMMax where the stats were very similar (man in late 30's or slightly more, 6'something and over 200 muscled pounds, nicely furred torso and built like a strong linebacker (and in one set of ads you see a face), but I also recall comments in the past about one or the other that led me to believe the photos were dated. And to be honest, I have seen these photos of both for over 2 years or more now.

He does travel around quite a bit and often runs two or three ads in various cities (not even in the same time zone) simultaneously.
