I wear two layers of lightweight hiking trousers. Inside pants pockets hold everything I’m not prepared to have lifted. Outer pair basically empty pockets including my 22.00-ish Euro T-usual transit card that I also keep in the inner pants pocket even after scanning it. Recently a group of four adults that looked like they were together but of differing ages embarked at Plaça de Sants station. I was standing at the centre pole of the car because I was only going a few more stops northwest. I frequently take the subway at home and in other cities. I thought, however, there was a lot of brief but unnecessary brushing and jostling against me by these folks in Barcelona. I wasn’t directly obstructing the space they would have needed to occupy. How they seemed to game it was looking rushed and flustered as if they had had to dash to get on, but I don’t think that was the case. Another time an unfortunate young guy eating near my table in Plaça Espanya got up for a few seconds to get a napkin or something steps away at the service counter. His knapsack was promptly lifted from under his table; neither of us noticed the act. As most know it is a circular arena structure and he had to quickly choose a direction in the lower food court to try to give chase, ultimately futile. Imagine the smoothness of operators that are that prepared to pounce on a random break in guardedness. Despite all the warnings I got from so many friends & acquaintances, I fear that the relative safety of 6 months in Madrid caused me to drop my guard. Thanks for the tips. Barcelona is too beautiful and too fun (thank you, Thermas!) a city to avoid just because of its petty theft problem.

I've always been curious about that. I have been to Thermas many times. I was never aware of any American working at the sauna in Barcelona. I assume it is possible. However, in Zurich, at Paragonya, one time I met an American working there. That was about three years ago. I asked the American why he chose Zurich for work. He replied that he and some of his friends/acquaintances do a "tour" and go to various saunas and clubs around Europe. He also said that some of his traveling friends are Canadians. + Vegas_Millennial and jayjaycali 1 1

Only since last year or so do they close for parties on certain days at 11pm and then reopen the sauna the following day at 3pm. Regardless providers will be there the same hours as always, they start arriving a little before 4pm and start leaving after 7pm. Best days are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. If you go outside these hours there will most likely not be any working guys.

There used to be a garoto sauna in Madrid that was claimed to be like the sauna in Barcelona. However, it closed years ago. I can understand why it closed. Most sauna employees were incredibly rude to most customers. Moreover, the garotos were mostly ordinary in looks, unlike the many beauties found in Barcelona Thermas. Here is a link to an old post about that sauna that suggests employees might have contributed to the sauna going out of business due to their rude behavior. + tassojunior Posted Tuesday at 02:41 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:41 AM (edited) 4 Day Trip Report- Thermas. Was just in Barcelona for 4 days and went to Thermas every day for minimum 3 hours. The hours are short and it's very hit or miss each day but plenty of action and $50 escorts, although most get less business by trying to get a little more like $70. But generally there are so few top-shelf guys the best tactic is do whatever neccessary to hook one asap when they appear. The first night I passed a great one I never saw again, and ditto the last night although I did speak with him a little. Offer more and get to the point quickly when a star appears. They disappear fast. The 2nd and 3rd days were mostly spent with a "star" who seems to be the favorite of clients and best-liked by other escorts as well. His name is Andrey and he's Columbian. He was a stripper at Theateron in Bogota. Doesn't bottom but gives the best oral I've ever had in my life for $50. Early 20's and natually muscular. Super nice intelligent guy. There's a hairless muscular light-complexion Venezuelan I almost got the 3rd day but he slipped away. The other escorts don't like him much but he's frequently there when not on a higher pay outcall. At least I spoke with him, unlike the star my first day. Two days there were a good two dozen escorts, while the other two there were less than ten. Before 3pm every day it may as well be closed it's so empty and 8pm is the witching hour when most leave. I stayed at the TWO by Axel 2 blocks away which is nice but can have small rooms. The BoyBerry sex cruise club is next door. A couple guys told me the clients' favorite is the Villa Emilia hotel on the same street as Thermas, a couple blocks away. Food at the Thermas bar is basic but there's a great sidewalk cafe across from Thermas named O'Canto that has great eye candy constantly walking by. Unlike my prior visits, Thermas has it's name and a sign over the front entrance. It used to just be #64 outside. (pics below). While they have very large towels people can also walk around in briefs or shorts if more comfortable. Next time i'l take my own flip-flops as their heavy shower slides don't stay on well and are arkward. Finding a warm-water shower is hard. They have large rooms and s/m playrooms available for $20/hr. Entrance is 25 and a 3-visit book drops it to 23. While I miss the eastern Europeans and Romanians, the latin guys are generally nice. I assume in warm weather the crowds will double. Edited Tuesday at 06:55 PM by tassojunior BSR, + Vegas_Millennial and CHIberia 3

Thank you." There you go again, Axiom! What do you have against the owner of this forum? I don't think he has done anything to justify your putting him at risk by your repeatedly using his forum to encourage Americans to violate federal laws against unlicensed and unsupervised travel to Cuba. If any American follows your advice and is caught unlawfully visiting Cuba, all the American has to say is that he learned how to skirt the rules from postings that are found in this forum, and, specifically from you. I asked you nicely not to add any more of your suggestions to my thread unless you add something productive. Not only did you ignore my request, you hijacked my thread and posted more nonsense including more false information about Cuba travel. You recently boasted in this forum, the fact that you made more than nine thousand posts. Although the QUANTITY (nine thousand posts) is a high number, the QUALITY of your nine thousand posts is tiny compared to the total quantity of posts. In other words, the majority of your posts is little more than nonsensical dribble, including your encouraging Americans to violate federal laws with respect to visiting Cuba. I would like very much to travel to Cuba for tourism. However, United States federal laws make it illegal for me to do so unless I am willing to be part of an approved licensed supervised tour. I have rejected going to Cuba because of the severe restrictions placed on Americans who visit there. I do not want to be supervised and told where I can and cannot go while on there. You previously bragged about traveling to Cuba via Canada. You also claimed that you are soon again going to Cuba, legally, with a licensed supervised tour group. To quote one of your recent posts, you stated "Early next year I hope to be in Habana, Cuba. While there I plan to meet some of its hot, big dicked men." Let me assure you, if you travel to Cuba (as an American) you will not be permitted to go off on your own unsupervised. In fact, you will not even be allowed (legally) to go to the beach alone or unsupervised. That is how restrictive laws are with respect to Americans visiting Cuba. The fact that a private (for profit) company told you that it has a license for Americans to travel to Cuba, the license is self-serving because the license is not approved by the U.S. State Department. I have seen copies of these so called "licenses" which were produced solely as a sales and marketing tool for Americans who wish to unlawfully travel to Cuba. Those "licences do not conform to the requirements as set forth by the U.S. State Department with respect to Americans visiting Cuba. I previously posted citations in connection with restrictions against Americans visiting Cuba. You choose to ignore those citations. I will post them here again for those who might doubt the severe restrictions against Americans visiting Cuba. "This forum is primarily to assist each other with helpful information. However, you posted information to this forum that was false and misleading. If Americans followed your advice of traveling to Cuba, unsupervised, via a booking through Canada, they could get into serious trouble with the federal government, if caught. Contrary to what you posted, Americans CANNOT freely go to Cuba as a tourist. Americans can visit Cuba provided the American is a part of a licensed and SUPERVISED tour group. The supervision would not provide for visiting with escorts, as you implied. See this inset from U.S. news quoting U.S. laws - http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/...cation-in-cuba : “In contrast the meaningful contact trips are legal ways for Americans to travel to Cuba and even get a direct flight from the U.S. to Havana. The catch with these trips is that Americans have to keep a schedule assigned by the group they travel with, they have a tour guide follow them on the entire trip, and people can’t simply break the agenda to visit Cuba’s Varadero Beach, says Chris Sabatini, senior director of policy for Council of the Americas.” “Many Americans do travel illegally to Cuba.” See this article: http://gocaribbean.about.com/od/cuba...n-American.htm I would think the last thing you would do is admit, on a public bulletin board, that you plan to violate (and previously violated) laws with respect to the prohibition of Americans visiting Cuba, unsupervised, as a tourist. If you really believe that contradicting false advice (that could land other innocent Americans in jail) is “hijacking” then I suggest you reassess your beliefs. This message forum is very popular with a certain sector of society. We are here to accurately exchange ideas and suggestions and sometimes help each other. I am confident that the forum owners would not want to have information posted to the forum that could get readers into serious trouble, if followed." - This forum is a great place to exchange ideas. Most of the time members of the forum learn from other members. Unfortunately, every now and again, inaccurate information (such as yours) is presented in the forum. Usually, the inaccurate information is harmless and can be ignored. However, in your case, your information can get people into serious trouble with the United States government. This forum is subject to various federal (and state) laws. It would be tragic if the forum owner(s) had to spend time and money defending against a government charge demanding to know why you were repeatedly allowed to use this forum to encourage other forum members to violate United States federal laws that prohibit American citizens from freely visiting Cuba for tourism, unsupervised and with an APPROVED license. I like this forum. I do not want your foolish postings to be a source of the forum being closed or the owner being penalized by having to spend time and money defending your outlandish posts that encourage Americans to violate U.S. laws. I am sorry that I had to be so harsh. I have tried many times to reason with you but you persist with your attempting to get other Americans to follow your unlawful decision to ignore federal laws that prohibit Americans to travel to Cuba except via a legally licensed and supervised tour. One final thought - this forum, is read by many people. You have already admitted in this forum to have gone through Canada to escape detection of your visit to Cuba. If an employee from the State Department reads your foolish bragging, you just might find a subpoena issued to the forum for identification of who you are. Information about you will have to be disclosed from the forum servers. For your own sake, I really wish you would recant your posts regarding Cuba and stop further discussion concerning the supposed upcoming Cuba trip that you have scheduled. Edit - Here is an updared U S News article - the previous citation expired - http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2014/07/02/how-americans-can-vacation-in-cuba Notice this critical requirement from the article: In contrast the "meaningful contact trips" are legal ways for Americans to travel to Cuba and even get a direct flight from the U.S. to Havana. The catch with these trips is that Americans have to keep a schedule assigned by the group they travel with, they have a tour guide follow them on the entire trip, and people can’t simply break the agenda to visit Cuba’s Varadero Beach, says Chris Sabatini, senior director of policy for Council of the Americas. When I first visited Barcelona and Thermas in 2018, the city hadn't yet been overrun by expats willing to pay exorbitant prices for housing and the general rise in cost of living. On the other hand Thermas was a great place to take chances on guys since you weren't out of that much money if it turned out to be a disappointment. I hope the 50 euro price point still stays a while. Edited 11 hours ago by Wolfer + tassojunior 1
