Serious Question About Joey Bryant

While I realize that this a "limited" community here, as opposed to the hiring world at large......but -

is there anyone here who has never hired joey bryant before but would still consider doing so ?

or-

if you have hired him before, would you do so again ??

 

for myself - (& I am a long time card carrying member of the "Black IS Beautiful" club) - I have never, ever found the guy attractive / appealing - neither physically nor emotionally....

& emotionally, if it was ever possible to consider him less appealing, I've now fallen to those even lower depths.

 

I mean, the guy could not even pay ME to do it with him......not for any amount.

I think JoeyBryant might hold the record for number of threads padlocked by management. I'm certain JoeyBryant holds the record for highest percentage of started threads being bitch rants against clients.

 

I've taunted him with my signature a number of times. Once my signature read, "NEVER IN DENVER" and my signature today is a line from a Juan Vancouver post in a Joey originated bitch rant thread. Juan's words were quite accurate. Seeing at anonymous dialogue on a blog as a threat to your person to the point of issuing Cease and Desist letters (sic) is career-ending.

 

Today I'd be curious to see if Mr. Bryant comes back on the Forum in his other screen name(s) to comment.

I've never met him and harbor no ill will towards him. If anything I feel sad for him now because, for whatever reasons, his most recent posts and PMs really showed him at what I presume is his worst. I know that he has been consistently resistant to accepting others' feedback, but I thought after the Palm Springs escort-client get together a year and a half ago that he seemed determined to improve his outlook and demeanor on this site. He did, in fact, seem a bit lighter in tone around that time. The most recent thread where he spiraled out of control and the subsequent PMs (I didn't receive one, but I believe the other posters who claim they did) indicates he's not in a very good place. That makes it difficult to do any kind of job, but particularly one that involves a high level of customer service and a need to market one's own self as desirable.

 

I actually did consider hiring Joey when he first advertised as a visitor to my area. I didn't contact him during that trip and by the time he came around again, I was already hesitant based on his public persona here. Not that I expect all escorts to be sunshine and light -- I actually like a bit of an edge to a guy -- but someone who puts so much effort into finding fault with everything/everyone but himself just isn't attractive.

Way, way, way back when he first started contributing here, I was interested (as I too have a bias FOR smart, chiseled, Black escorts).

 

Then I began reading closely some of his comments - and finally got to the point about 6 months ago where I pushed the magic button here so I no longer have to see his rants. Oddly, came across one of his ads for DC (he is planning to come here soon) and almost opened the ad (which signals to the escort that YOU are looking at HIM), when I figured out the "name" was his real escort name for Joey Bryant.

 

As others have said here, he could not pay me to spend time with him at this stage. But as many of us who have been involved here since the time of HooBoy know, there is something for just about everyone out there, and perhaps there is still some niche for JB -- just not for me.

Although I do not agree with many things written by Joey Bryant, I certainly would not start a new thread to attack him.

 

There are many other different posters who have written controversial things that rub people the wrong way. However, I am not aware of threads being created to bash them.

If I may, I believe what motivated this thread was a PM sent last night to a number of Forum members, incl. myself, to cease and desist with replies to his threads/posts which are not complimentary to him. Included in the PM were threats of legal action.

That still doesn't justify this thread. You dealt with the private messages by reporting them. A thread devoted to attacking Joey Bryant is unseemly and imo, unwelcome. Beyond that, Joey Bryant is on time-out and cannot defend himself here. This thread does not help anything.

Yeah, me. I've been comparing travel notes with him as PMs here for a couple of months but haven't been able to arrange being in the same place and at the same time and I can't afford to have him travel to me or I certainly would. Looks wise he definitely floats my boat (and I'm a boat Captain) and his communications with me have always been professional and thoughtful. I read just about every post on the forums here and his do tend to lean heavily towards the negative side of the business but isn't that part of what these forums are all about, to discuss all aspects of the business with other escorts and customers? His posts are usually very written and I would think that here amongst "peers" he would find a more receptive and empathetic audience. I'm guessing that his forum attitude doesn't carry over to his dealing with clients. I don't know that for sure but the 5 reviews here all say they would hire him again. I fully intend to find out for myself if he and I are ever in the same city at the same time. There's a few escorts who I see posting here and whose reviews I read that cause me to think "hmm if I'm ever their city......" but Joey is one of the very few that I will seriously pursue. Once that meeting happens I truly hope that I'm posting a very positive "I told you so" review. If I'm wrong I'll post that too.

Once thing is to open a thread to hear other guys' experiences with him, another is to do it about an escorts alleged anger issues.

 

I don't know if any of yinz would like to be treated like him, but in any case both kind of threads are still "legal" in this forum.

Maybe he's career is coming to an end. Escorts who contribute on here usually don't mess with other posters, and most of the time try to sound as classy as possible while making statements to promote themselves with links to their ads.

 

Joey was too confrontational and negative, assuming everybody was in disagreement with him for the personal reasons.

 

I hope we'll think about leaving the forum before he gets a bad reputation he can no longer escape.

There were several ugly and angry replies from him, it was beyond bitchy almost threatening, even to guy who appeared to agree with him or try to explain why some folks had to hire escorts but didn't like doing it...

I do not think this is a fair thread about Joey. It does seem to me that he does have some very serious issues. I think the best way to handle it, is to respond in the appropriate manner or one of the best is after having read some of his posts if you do not like them, you do not have to respond. what does it mean exactly when a member is"timed out"? One doesn't have to be logged in to view posts. Does that mean the time out just prevents a member from posting?
