Thanks, GREAT POST, Steven...reminds me of my last trip to Paris and the fun times and great guys I met on tht trip...especially at one of the bath houses, when a group of guys came in together to the steam room... I could have bet money that it was a soccer club...but they were just a bunch of friends who liked to play together at the sauna !!

The French National Day (or Bastille Day for the English-speaking) is on July 14th and commemorates the beginning of the French Revolution with the Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789

 

Whereas the Belgian National Day on July 21th commemorates the day Leopold of Saxe-Cobourg swore allegiance to the new Belgian constitution in 1831, thus becoming the first King.
