Lord, Duke, Prince, Journeyman???

I lurk here a lot but seldom actually post. When posting this morning I noticed that I'm a "Journeyman" according to the button below my name. I got interested in what that meant and find........

Lord

Marquess

Master

Prince

Viscount

.......are also titles. I searched the FAQs and prior posts and can't find anything that says how those titles are given out. I guess it really doesn't matter really but I curious and somewhat bored at work today and since I had already signed in to make the earlier post decided to just ask.

They are based on the number of posts you have made here; I don't remember what the scale is, or exactly the order, but I remember that I became an Earl at 3000 and a Marquess at (I think) 4500.

0 – 9 Newbie

10-24 Novice

25-49 Apprentice

50-99 Journeyman

100-249 Master

250-499 Knight

500-749 Lord

750-999 Baron

1000-1999 Viscount

2000-2999 Count

3000-3999 Earl

4000-4999 Marquess

5000-5999 Duke

6000-6999 Peer

7500+ Prince

I think the only active Prince is deej, and the only other posters who ever reached that title were Rick Munroe and Lucky. One has to spend a lot of time posting to achieve that goal; at my current rate, I may make it by 2026.

I just checked my actual stats, which include posts per day, and apparently I will be elevated to Prince in 2041.

I also realized that if one combines Brooklyn Guy and his earlier incarnation as JT Brooklyn, he is a Crown Prince.

Sorry to resurrect this month old post that I started but I just realized that a reply I made to an earlier post on another thread today was #98, so this is #99, my last one as Journeyman, so now I can look forward to becoming a Master upon my next post/reply.
