resurrecting this thread to wonder whatever happened to The Great Lime Shortage....was it a scam orchestrated by Mexican gangs as some proposed...or what?....

 

cuz I just got two limes for 17 cents total (2 lbs./$1) at my local Hispanic grocery store...

 

and for you frequent fliers, are the airlines still withholding limes??....

Limes are back to their usual price in San Diego. I picked up a couple of large ones for 25 cents a piece.
