I have, and it wasn't because of his poor performance, appearance, etc. The session was excellent and I offered to write a review to Daddy's site. He demurred saying it would make him too(!) popular, and that he would rather remain low-key. I found him on RB, where occasionally runs a ad.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

I have seen the same Masseur for several years. He is exceptional in every way. He is both a skilled masseur, and incredibly erotic. Early on I offered to review him. He quite firmly explained that he valued the same level of discretion from his clients that they expect from him. He preferred that I not submit a review and thanked me for asking him first.

Same situation for myself, with masseurs and escorts. A couple very popular escorts were completely indifferent to my offer to write a nice review. I used to send the escort a copy to make sure they were OK with what I was going to post, and on a few occasions they asked me to rewrite it so that it would be more generic, as they didn't want me to give details about what happened behind closed doors. Now my reviews are more along those lines. The last couple of reviews the escort actually called and thanked me for keeping personal details out.

It's not an uncommon thing for "Working Guys" to NOT want a Review especially those who Work a Large Market they don't need it. IF your "Working It" in the Midwest that's probably a different situation....

 

Alot have learned different types of Clients mean different Chemistry! Experiences definitely vary!

I've never been asked not to write a review and, admittedly, if I was, I'd probably honor the request. That said--and although I am all in favor of mutual respect and consideration between escort and client--I think it's unfortunate to cede control of the review process to the person being reviewed. How often have newcomers to the forum (newcomers to hiring) been told that they should start with (and maybe stick to) guys who are well-reviewed on the Daddy's Reviews site? If we believe that's a good idea, we ought to respect the integrity of a helpful resource by sharing our own experiences as often and as honestly as we can. One very popular working guy dislikes reviews that detail the specifics on an encounter. He thinks other clients will then expect him to deliver what the reviewer described and since his sessions can be spontaneous and dependent on chemistry, what happens varies from client to client.

No... but I do know one local DC escort who received a positive review from a client and wishes he hadn't published it. Sometimes it's a good idea to make sure the stats are right and the description of what happens is what an escort might do with other escorts.

Yes. I've had several just say "no thanks" with no stated reason. Another said he would like to control his Internet presence as much as possible and would prefer not to have record of his activities as an escort on other sites. Yet another was dead set against being mentioned on Hooboy's because we're all a bunch of catty, bitchy queens and he wanted no part of it.
