I thought Simply Adam's review by Malik was pretty interesting. As someone who grew up speaking Romance languages and who speaks Portuguese and lived in Brazil I was amazed at Malik's command of English. Unless you are 100% bilingual (which is rare) there are normally certain phrases and use of terminology that let you know when someone is writing in a foreign language. I certainly commend Malik for his mastery of English. :)

In response to newtothis's comments about the extraordinary use of idiomatic English by this 23-year-old Brazilian, I completely agree. But maybe Malik had someone write this for him. The writer, whether Malik or a spokesperson for Malik, is a jargon expert too. When people refer to their "journey" as Malik does, I doze off....

Sorry to be asking this again, but I have recently had a hankering for a ripped, muscle top and am strongly considering hiring Mike Masters.

HOWEVER, since he showed up on Rentboy a few years ago, I've gotten this odd feeling that he's the former Steve (#7?)/Dave Bruno. I think it was MM's initial photos, which had a strong athletic look to them, and some of the wording in the RB profile that felt very reminiscent of Steve/Dave's. Since the Steve/Dave reviews have been removed from Daddy's and RB, I can't tell for certain how similar the writeups were. I hired Steve/Dave once before and though I had a good time, my session with him wasn't the mind-blowing experience that would get me to pay $325 a second time.

So my dilemma is: I don't want to book an appointment with Mike Masters and only find out that it's Steve/Dave. (Given what happened with Steve/Dave, and how the guy put so much effort to eliminate any trace of that persona, I am not sure if I would get a straight answer if I asked Mike and he was in fact Steve/Dave.) Is there anyone out there who has hired both Mike and Steve/Dave who can tell me if they are the same guy or not?

Has anyone ever suggested adding a feature to the reviews, letting readers

give them Isay) a negative to positive rating (say, -5 to +5).

I've seen that kind of rating system on other reviewing websites. Amazon

lets buyers rate their rates with a "*" to "****" system.

How does this sound?

First a welcome to Bluray2!

I agree that an Amazon style rating system would be more useful as opposed to the "recommend, satisfactory, unsatisfactory, not recommended" current system. I enjoy writing reviews on Amazon and on occasion have used the five star rating system in the body of the reviews that I have submitted here as well. When searching Amazon if a product gets a consistently high or low score from a large number of reviewers it is usually an indication of overall quality.

Still, one would need to read the body of the review as we are discussing a different type of "commodity" here... and I hate to use that word... Not only are we dealing with human beings with different personas and sensibilities, but we must also consider the individual reactions and personalities between the individuals involved. That us where the you "you" section of the review form is just as important as the actually "review" portion.

It really is more complicated than a star raring, but still I think that is more useful than the current system as it might be a better indication of who the truly stellar and most exceptional exponents of the profession really are.

Many thanks, Whipped Guy!

I may not have explained myself clearly. I meant a **** rating system

that rates/assesses each specific review, not the escorts.

Does that sound useful?

I.e. everyone who reads the reviews can click on

them to give them a rating.

Got it now Bluray!!! I misunderstood!! Perhaps a nice feature would be what's done on Amazon... That is a feature that allows readers to rate a review as helpful vs. not helpful. For the record I'm at 95% with my 47 reviews on Amazon. While I have not written as many here, I certainly hope that my reviews have at the very least given a modicum of help to prospective clients.

Still, though few use it there is a five-star rating for each individual thread in this forum. So perhaps that might work as well!

So did you end up hiring Mike? He has a new review today and it really got me thinking as he was previously off my list as someone who would only do rough/kinky sessions. I've also hired Steve #7, but don't recall his pics being ever as muscular as Mike's. He certainly wasn't that muscular in person, though we did have a great session (and I may have written a review as well). Too bad he's out of the business.

I've seen the same question concerning Mike asked several times about whether or not he's Steve #7 / Dave Bruno, but it's never been answered. Can anyone with first-hand knowledge answer this?

Hey DC- Dave Bruno changed his name to Mike Masters in November 2011. He was NEVER Steve#7
