A couple of hours ago I got yet another blank email from a Hooville denizen. This time it was from the mailbox of Aaron Scott. I was kinda wondering why he would be sending me an email, so I opened it. Of course there was nothing there. I've also gotten a couple of these from DaddyJohn and others. So is this a virus or, is it as I've always thought; They're out to get me?:o

I am getting such e-mails every other day it seems. I got the Aaron Scott e-mail you referenced about 4-5 days ago to the e-mail address I set up to use only with this site. I saw the size of the e-mail (they are always large), so I deleted it. I did open a couple when I first started getting them. Jackhammer has also referenced these e-mails. It seemed to me they started after that massive negative e-mail sent to a lot of us blasting deej, HB, and Daddy a few months ago.

Yes, this is the kind of thing I referenced in "messing with hooboy's mail". I got one today from someone..again blank.. but listed at about 128K in size. IT does seem this started about the time that the "blasting" memo started. Is there some way to track this thing down and shut this off once and for all?

Hey Lucky (and anyone else who has received something from me) Sorry you are getting email messages with my name attached. But, I can assure you, as has been discussed on here before, I am not responsible for the email messages being sent out. There are viruses which roam the web looking for email addresses on web pages such as this one and then use those addresses to proliferate themselves. Nasty little buggers! }(

 

I get a TON of unwanted mail from all sorts of email addresses each day. Many of them are from escorts that I recognize, but even more are from names I have no idea who they are. Just some of the headaches with advertising on the internet, I guess. Oh well, that is one of many reasons why I love having an apple computer.... pretty much unaffected by viruses!!
