Seems all his good reviews are "first reviews" so he's got that going for him. I think there was also one experienced reviewer who said his session started bad but ended good. If, as it appears, you won't have to pay for Miles to travel and see you its probably not a big risk to give him a spin and see how he does for you?

My experience with Mr. Miles wasn't as good as the review he received today. He's got a hot body, handsome face and is friendly. But in our one-hour session, he physically left the room in our session at least five times, once for at least seven minutes. He was very distracted the entire time and couldn't sustain any contact of any sort longer than a few minutes.

 

I get the sense he just can't turn it on for all his clients and can only perform with those to whom he would have been attracted anyway. It's too bad, because I thought he had the potential to become a "go-to" guy for me.

 

This whole hiring endeavor is so fluky and so hard to predict. I had a GREAT time recently with an escort about whom I received a proceed-with-caution e-mail on here and before that had a lukewarm time with an escort that was just on fire around here with everyone.

I have to agree with Decatur Guy -- so much depends on personal chemistry.

 

Sure there are guys here that I have met who can be hot and sexy and on fire with just about anyone. There have been others receiving very high approval from clients here who I meet and find were a waste of time and energy on my part, major disappointments in the sex, distracted, self-indulgent, diva types not worth a second look.

 

I too find that one has to be able to read through the reviews, "do the homework" in checking what others (whose opinions and views match my own often enough), and then -- make that phone call and take the gamble.

 

Recently I have hired some out-of-the-ballpark guys (reviews have appeared) and through one, who I really clicked with, have now been guided towards one or two I considered but never called; with HIS guidance and personal assessment I have put them on a definite check list for future encounters. Isn't this how it often works for us? If you meet a guy who engages you both sexually and intellectually, who really "understands" you and you needs, and then can say, "Hey, how about trying so-and-so, who I know and who I think would really hit it off with you?" On such recommendations, I have found quite a few happy moments.

 

As for Boston Miles, who on screen really pushes so many of my buttons, the reviews have left me moving him off to the "maybe some other time" list.

Chemistry is difficult to judge, but some guys tend to attract "fanboys" and I tend to avoid guys whose reviews contain few specifics or seem to reflect a lot of neediness. I suspect some clients don't need much attention to be happy. Guys who aren't happy with their bodies have talked about their negative experiences, but I'm proportional, inshape, "well-kept", and a "nice guy"---those qualities don't prevent negative experiences. There's obviously an art to escorting and the guys who do well at it know how to connect to a variety of guys; interestingly, the pros with credible reputations are not always the youngest, prettiest or the most buff--there's something more going on than spending time at the gym or easily collecting compliments.

I have read this thread with great interest as I have contemplated hiring Boston Miles for over a year. I also admit up front I have watched (multiple times) nearly all his porn films and like very much what I have seen and would love to spend quality time with him for that reason.

 

However there is also the caution I have learned over the years: porn actors do not necessarily make great escorts, nor do all great escorts act well in porn.

 

I have been fortunate in hiring escorts since 1988 and I have met some great guys, many who also were on the screen. My earliest professional hire was Steve Masters (UK) who was absolutely amazing. In the past guys have sent me a PM to ask about one guy or another; it is my hope I have been as honest and accurate as possible, and not led someone down the wrong path. I am not a movie star or muscular handsome guy - I am pretty normal (and overweight) but have been told that my personality is why I often do well even with the stars, and I hope that is true: treating each guy with respect, honesty, discretion and as someone whose time with me is very much appreciated. His personality was OK with me. I just got the impression from my session -- and that theory has only grown as I've read more reviews and threads -- that he can't turn it on for a client unless he would be attracted to them anyway in a nonhiring situation. He never came right out and said I was a turn-off, but that was the way he made me feel as he kept exiting the bedroom.

 

I now regret not doing a review, because I felt like I might be part of the problem. Next time I spend good money for a so-so time, I'm writing it up anyway and just will make very clear it was OK vs. a disaster. But when you're paying $200 and up for an hour, you really deserve better than OK. It's taken me this long to reach that, but I'm here now.
