I had further conversations with Jack. I let him know the [unfavorable] feedback that I received about him here on the forum. I wanted to see what his reaction would be to this information.

 

His first reaction was to attack ("Uhhh I think you are on crack. The "massage community" eh?? Do they have meetings like AA?").

 

I responded by saying that I am not on crack. I am business professional that is serious about getting a good massage. I had done some research and presented him with the findings...and to see what his response was. I also sent him the link to this post and invited him to post and join in on the conversation.

 

He responded: "Not really worth my time. I had a weird pimp out there flaming me for awhile and it isn't really worth getting all upset over. I find that the people that hang around and visit and write entries into message board things like that are those that are just generally negative. You will very rarely hear positive things, because those people just go on about their lives. The customer base that that site represents is less than 0.1% of the client population in the nation, so I am not that concerned. "

 

I told him that even this forum may be a small percentage of the client base, he shouldn't underestimate the power of negative or wrong information out there. I told him that there are many positive posts on the board and that I find it most helpful. I still encouraged him to post here and said that a little effort here can go a long way.
