SCAM ALERT: "Bruno" in New York City

A kind note from another forum member emboldens me to divulge the full

story. This is below.

 

Guys, sometimes I think "stern, demanding ads" evoke a masculinity that is

attractive. Regretfully, not all that glitters is gold.

Full story:

 

If you look at this guy's ad, he is stern and demanding. Similarly, he texted me that he could only come from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am...and because of "his bad experiences" he wanted $1,500 upfront.

 

Stupidly, i agreed.

 

Then I got suspicious, and reverse-searched his picture (duh? why didn't I do that before). It shows up as the poor murdered model. I texted the guy back asking bluntly if the picture was his. He admiited "No, not really." He then texted me ANOTHER picture, still hot but not "the guy I would want." I said

"How would I know this is not another borrowed picture?"

 

He answered: "Welcome to the world of prostitution. I can't show my real picture

because it might cause me problems with the police."

 

I cancelled the appointment.

 

He then said, "Why not let me come? If you don't like the way I look, you don't have to go through with this."

 

I cut if off at that point.

oh man.....thanks, BC, for the clarification.....your exchange with this guy, while not utterly horrible, will really help a lot of forum members here understand the various possibilities that can be encountered....it also reminds me that some of the lesser-known, unreviewed, newer escorts can become quickly hardened, jaded and/or defensive in this risky business.....I hope all here will be careful, trust your very first instinct, stay in control, and communicate thoroughly beforehand....

Smart approach, I think in this case the escort simply wanted the money up front but who knows his reaction if he had been turned down.

 

There was a long forum about a guy who showed up at a DC hotel to hire an escort, realized the escort's pics were faked and got "jumped" and robbed out of all his money but some mugs who were hiding at the closet.

 

I can't find the forum but there was a lot of talk about it and all of the sudden everybody said they ALWAYS meet guys at the lobby.

 

Please don't restart it.

For those interested the Model was Murdered along with his Older Roomate. So as to just WHO the 3rd Party was..Time will tell Maybe as San Paulo is as crime ridden as the rest of Brazil Sadly!
