I was heading to LA for work and thought it would be fun to visit an escort in Vegas I haven't seen in a while. He just so happened to also be in LA that weekend for work relating to his day job. He spent the weekend with me and I was surprised to find that he has a decent sized small business and was actually holding meetings in LA regarding expanding his current market. I asked him why he was still escorting and he said its because he's lonely and bored. He doesn't advertise, but he will see old clients when they come calling. In lieu of cash he wanted sneakers, clothes and sunglasses.

I knew someone like the above as well. A very decent fellow, heart of gold,

aimed to leave the escort world via a potentially nice side business. Escorting

to him was always more than about the money.

I assume the years of keeping their escorting a secrete and always having to make them selves available every night has caused them to be loner types, which probably makes it very hard to move on into a normal life. Sad for them but great for me because that gives me access to a beautiful young man that someone my age normally wouldn't be able to.

I think guys have all kinds of motivations for doing this. For me, I didn't even know you could make money doing it. The motivation was completely different than that...and continues to be. I've met some great people and it gives me an outlet for my other side that isn't all corporate and buttoned up. The money was actually just a nice, unexpected perk.

The other side is right. Those pics on your new website is just insanely hot. I can't even breath right now I'm so worked up lol. I've got to find a way to rid myself of this excessive testosterone that you've just created...

There's some truth to that, but not every escort's personal life operates in the same way. Some guys make themselves available almost exclusively to the business. Others like myself, like to have a personal life outside of escorting including meeting people who are in no way connected to it.

I've met guys who had no life outside of this, never go out, never meet or flirt with people or be themselves. It was just all about the man and the money. And there's just so much more to life than that. I don't think we should close ourselves in, but have OUR time as well.

I know some guys who travel and only see clients, no fooling around. That's okay. But me, I want to take advantage of what I can get. And when I'm at home, I'm actively out in the scene, exploring my options. Clients simply cannot give me everything I need. If I want to fuck a 22 year old bottom with a big ole dick, who wants to sleep over at my hotel after the sex, I'm going to do that. Because here in Denver, guys are on some f-ing bullshit and like to play dummy games about hooking up, so to be in a new area with new possibilities let's me know there is a world outside of this box-shaped state. I can't expect escorting to meet every need and desire I have.

His might be a unique situation in that running a small business, especially if he's the only employee, can be a lonely situation.

A friend of mine is the only employee in his business and doesn't get much in the way of marriage proposals, since he's always on call to work at sustaining his company.

Can you say this with a straight face and holding your laugh?

You can always fuck old guys for fun without asking for money.

LOL.

Yeah, something in that original statement just didn't add up for me either. A total Miss America answer, but perhaps a bit too much so

It was only when someone offered me money to do what I was already doing and had done for some time, that I realized: "hey, I can make money."

Do I win?

You win!!! I will say very candidly that there have been more than a few times in my life, when some hot guy was flirting with me at a bar, and I mistook them for an escort. One particular time at "The Spot light" in Hollywood, I even began mentioning money, and I remember that he looked at me very strange and said something to the effect, "What the hell are you talking about" I of course told him how much I was willing to pay, and he was just shocked that I thought he was an escort. The conversation quickly evolved into the amount I was willing to pay, and I remember him just saying to me, "Oh my God, you think I'm an escort?" He was really flattered that someone would pay that amount for him to go home with them. We sat and talked for the longest time about escorts, and how I go about hiring and what kind of guys that I pay for, he was fascinated. Of course nothing happened after that, because the thrill of the chase was gone for me...

So yes, I can easily see how what started out as just fun, where someone would just suddenly realize one day, "hey, I can make money at this" :p:p

Well...I had been making eyes at this insanely hot guy at the bar for a few weeks, and was flattered when he came over and started flirting. After a while, when I suggested we go back to my place, he said "You do know I'm an escort, right?" At that point my reaction was more "Yes! I am DEFINITELY going to score tonight!" than anything else. Years later, he's given up escorting but he's still a good friend.

Well there obviously was a connection, which is always hot, otherwise I don't think that he would have approached you. Now the question is, did the sex continue after he gave up escorting, and did he continue to charge you as a friend? ;)

Thats the interesting case about Greg. He has 3 employees. I told him that if he delegated some of his responsibilities he'd have more free time to be social and apparently that is the problem, since he delegated out the responsibilities he has tons of free time with no clue what to do with it. Good problem to have!
