Why do people go to the zoo?

And for those who go to the zoo, how many do you think would care to interact with the animals if they were not in cages?

RE: A Cage at this age

>C'mon, woodie! You spend as much time at the zoo as the

>animals! Are you a zoologist now?

I'm sure there are plenty of people who would spend more time at the zoo if they could do it without leaving their desk.

Woodlawn,

Hate to disagree. If you could please direct me to the post where I stated my age as 45 I would be grateful. I am not in the habit of lying about my age, and in fact in most, if not all of my reviews, I have stated my current age (which is not 45, but 55, not that you need to know that, but it's not a secret, nor a lie.) Now as to acting my age, or hanging with guys my age, I am and I do (not that you need to know that either, but thanks for your opinion.)

To the other guys who posted suggestions, my sincere thanks. There's some good stuff in there, and I have reason to believe I am not chasing some fairy tale (you should excuse the expression). To all those who sent pirvate emails of encouragement, thanks a bunch. Had my first lunch date today. It went ok, and we'll see where it goes from here. He's a Tom Cruise look alike only furry. And yes he is younger, but he cruised me so I responded.

To Bilbo, I don't know whether to be flattered or offended at the 36 year old remark, but I choose to be flattered. I am just a late bloomer who has a thick dick and love handles, with not as much confidence as I once had. Getting back into dating is kind of a big deal for me.

To Axe, thanks as always, your responses are so inciteful (rhymes with spitefull).

Anyway, thanks guys, you can let this thread rest now.

I've never read any of your reviews. I could have sworn that you responded on this message board to a remark from a certain escort who had no-showed you and who referred to the "old men with no lives" who post here by mentioning that your age is 45.

>not that you need to know that,

I don't need to know anything about you. But for some reason you keep posting all sorts of information about your personal life on this message board even though neither I nor anyone else asks you for it. Saying "not that you need to know that" makes it sound as if I am prying. But if you cared about privacy you wouldn't have gone to so much effort to make your private life a topic of conversation on this board, would you?

>Now as to acting my age, or hanging with

>guys my age, I am and I do (not that you need to know that

>either, but thanks for your opinion.)

Once again, I don't need to know anything about you. YOU are the one who keeps creating threads like this one that are all about your depression, the problems you have with dating, and other aspects of your private life. If you don't want people to talk about these things, then why the hell do you keep doing that? Stopping this sort of silly behavior would be an excellent indication that you are indeed "acting your age." Try to behave with a little dignity. If you're 55 (or even 45), it's about time.

Glad you chose to be flattered, Jackhammer. Your body may be older, but you still think young, and isn't that something many of us want to keep doing?

>Well, shrinkled shriveled limp dicks for one!

Hmmm, sounds like a description of some of those young escorts, I have had the misfortune to encounter. :)

Woodlawn,

My life is pretty much an open book. I have used this MC in that way since the day I registered. As a result, I have met some great men who post on this site in the real world. Whenever I travel, I manage to meet some of the posters here in whatever city I am in. I have made some great new friends of all ages. I am feeling pretty good emotionally , and it doesn't bother me that you and Axe feel the need to reference my previous struggles at every ooportunity. In spite of feeling very healthy mentally, I am not about to resign my position as a board member of the prozac set (a drug I have never taken BTW). I am not concerned about whether people discuss or respond to my threads as though it was an invasion of my privacy. I simply wanted to point out that I was not the age you had posted. As to the bouts with depression, you mentioned that this time , not me. You judge me by your own limits, in that you have no desire to openly discuss anything about yourself except opinions. That's your priviledge just as it is mine to be open and candid.

What amazes me about you, as someone alluded to earlier, is that you show up and rant on a site for and about escorts, all the while professing opinions that have little or no respect for escorts or the men who hire them. In fact, for someone who has such little regard for the men who use this site, I marvel at the amount of time you find to spend here ridiculing and disparaging any and all. Is this some kind of legal study project for you. I don't recall ever reading any reviews of escorts posted by you, although you may have posted them using a different handle. And for someone who tires so easily of my threads and posts, I don't know why you don't take the advice I offered so long ago and just skip them. when I want your opinion couselor, I'll pay you for it.

As for acting my age, I don't recall what the "primer on aging" recommends, but I am pretty sure it doesn't suggest that to act ones age means never being open and candid about feelings and perceptions. If that's required to be acting one's age, you must be ancient.

Respectfully yours

Thanks for posting even more information about yourself -- which I didn't really ask for.

>and it

>doesn't bother me that you and Axe feel the need to reference

The opportunities are provided by you. Because you keep creating threads that are all about you, you, you.

>I am not concerned about whether people

>discuss or respond to my threads as though it was an invasion

>of my privacy.

Then there is little point in telling me that I don't "need to know" this or that about you.

>You judge me by your own

>limits, in that you have no desire to openly discuss anything

I just don't get a kick out of talking about myself. You, apparently, do.

I'm afraid you're not being very honest. The fact is that with regard to the subject of this site, I'm a consumer -- so it shouldn't come as a shock to anyone that in posting I generally take the side of the consumer. People who do that with respect to other industries -- the auto industry, for example -- are often accused by industry advocates of hating the industry or wanting to destroy it. Of course that is nonsense, merely a tactic industry advocates use to distract people from the points consumer advocates make. It's the same here.

>And for someone who tires so easily of my

>threads and posts, I don't know why you don't take the advice

>I offered so long ago and just skip them. when I want your

In truth, I don't respond to or comment on most of what you write. When I feel like doing so, I will -- I don't need your permission to do that, and if you don't like it when I or others do that your alternative is to stop posting.

>As for acting my age, I don't recall what the "primer on

>aging" recommends, but I am pretty sure it doesn't suggest

>that to act ones age means never being open and candid about

I think you and I were raised in different cultures. In mine, talking endlessly about oneself is considered a major negative.

Jackie,

My 2 cents. JUST GO OUT. Who cares about age...it is a numbers game period.

GO OUT

GO OUT

GO OUT

Young, middle aged, or old.....anyone that gives you the time of day...Have fun. It may turn out that you don't like this guy for more than his MIND...or Body...or body hair. Don't put any requisites on it. You like em...you go for em. I have had relationships with OLDER GUYS...yes it worked...in gay terms what is long term..2 years or 10 years...or 20 years. It can happen...but can only happen if you find the RIGHT guy. You'll know if it will work out after the first month.

I know my 2 cents probably doesnt help....but anyways.

This admittedly offbeat suggestion isn't aimed directly at the relationship stuff, but more at improving your self-confidence while hopefully at the same time gently opening up the range of men who might interest you as a relationship partner or even just a sex partner.

Shortly after moving to San Francisco I went through a period of going to sex clubs and bathhouses a lot. What I noticed and liked was that there was something democratic about them: everyone was there for the same purpose (unlike in, say, a club) and often stripped down to a towel, which meant that one social stratifier (clothing) was removed from the picture and also that there was no "false advertising" going on. I found that I got attention from guys who typically didn't look twice at me in bars, and also that I paid attention to guys I typically didn't look twice at in bars. We were there to get laid, after all.

I don't want to glamorize that scene -- it can be very tired and sometimes you see some depressing things -- but partaking in it on a limited basis for a limited time was, I think, good both for my self-confidence and for helping me to look at other men's bodies a little more generously.

Good on you Jack. Someome had to say it to him and I'm glad you had the balls to.

This creep has been spewing his opinions on here for ever, using various handles such as Regulation/Woodlawn and god only knows how many others!

I think his real personna is Ralph Nader in drag.

Thunderbuns, just who the fuck are you to complain about people spewing their opinions under different handles? The first time Lucky called you on it you came up with some ridiculous story about your posts sounding so similar to "his" because "he" is your boyfriend. Did you really think anyone would believe such a stupid lie?

For what it's worth, which is absolutely nada, I also thought I'd seen the Hammer post that he was 45. I was probably too hung over that day.

Later.

PS. I bet that both Lucas and Luciano market for Pillsbury when they launch a new pop n' fresh brand.

PPS. blu, what say you to that new Kurt on rentboy. Also Zane visiting from London. And Jack Sanders from LA. Decisions, decisions. BFs should never leave town on weekends such as these.

PPS. The Hammer's threads are some of the only ones I bother with in the Lounge. My alter ego's responses usually bust me up. There I go talking to myself again. Hammer, could you recommend someone I could talk to? Thanks so much for your assistance.

It comes as something of a surprise to me too. Well, you learn something every day, as the saying goes.

Now don't get all pissy, Bitch. The weekend is just starting and you'll need to conserve your strength to post your next 378 useless opinions before Monday.

Well now woodass - let me see...........

(1) Whether you believe it or not is not something I give a rat's ass about. It's your perogative to believe what ever pleases your little pin head.

(2) But--- just for the sake of argument, lets assume for the moment that it is true. Why would you - of ALL people - have a problem with it, considering the number of handles you use here. Tich tich, bitch!

(3) You're probably just pissed off because I can get a boyfriend and you have no hope of ever landing one.

Have a good weekend.

If you think there is anyone on this board who believes the stupid lie you told to cover up your screen name switch, you're even more of a fool than you seem. If Lucky tumbled to it, anyone would.

What I have a problem with, you hypocritical little shit, is your constant attempts to criticize others for doing the EXACT SAME THING you do. That's why I'll continue to point out your hypocrisy whenever you try it in the future. You may as well get used to it, since there's nothing you can do about it.

>(3) You're probably just pissed off because I can get a

But your "boyfriend" is entirely imaginary -- since you and Thunderbuns are the same person. Getting an imaginary boyfriend is not too hard, I believe.
