I find this current FALCON star adorable as he reminds me of my second bf in many ways. I have never seen him run any escort ads but I ran across him on grindr in my area. I have always wondered what these type charged just out of curiosity. 350 for the FIRST hour.... 2 grand overnight! In the REAL WORLD of escorting I dont think that will fly but I hope he does well. Has anyone actually hired him? He has 7 inches and says he prefers to top but will bottom. AT least now I am conviced that my measly little 200 fee is not too high! lol

While I have not hired Ryan, I have met him and spent part of an evening with him. I have to say that he is far better looking in person, has a better body than his pics, and and and, he was extremely friendly, flirtatious, engaging, a smile that is positively captivating, and very funny. With me at least, he treated me like one of his best friends. I did not know at the time that he escorted, had I known, perhaps I would have been a bit of a bad boy that evening.

 

The subject of what people consider a fair amount for a porn star to charge, and whether or not they should be paid a higher amount, solely based on their "celebrity" status is an on going debate. I am one of those guys that is willing to pay a higher amount. knowing full well that the escorts status or fee is not a guarantee of a more quality experience. That being said, I am still willing to pay whatever amount that I feel is a fair amount. That amount will vary from escort to escort of course, but there are times when I am will to pay a higher amount. My choice. In the case of Ryan, after meeting him and socializing with him, I would have not hesitated in paying the 350 an hour, or whatever amount he advertises, again my choice.

The rate seems to be creeping up, especially for porn star or high demand escorts. I must admit some escorts do ask for a ridiculous amounts for their time, especially given some limit what they do. However (like bigvalboy), if I'm eager to meet the person, I don't mind paying the price... within reason of course ($500 & up for an hour or less, begins to turn me off). :-P

 

Some escorts charge higher rates because it helps weed out the flakes. I had a conversation with D.O. about this topic. Some do it because... well, people are willing to pay. Those not getting the amount they asked for tend to drop their rate eventually. And as I'm sure many could attest to on this board, there is also the occurrence where an escort comes to like/enjoy the client so much that they offer reduced rates (on return visits).

 

Ryan is a hot commodity, so to speak. He's going to charge what he can get for as long as he can get it. :-)

I must say I got a good laugh reading jon1265's comment that, "sometimes a fantasy is better left a fantasy". No truer statement regarding the hiring of porn "stars" has ever been made. It is most definitely an expensive hit or miss.

 

Now as regards Ryan Rose. His tattoos don't do much for me, however, I would willingly pay $600 for two hours a play time with him if he would thrown in the time eating lunch or dinner gratis. That is the only aspect of an escorts fee that I will negotiate. Damn he is cute!!!!!

sounds like you're doing your best at comparing apples to oranges here

 

like you, he's free to charge what he wants. That's the real world of escorting: Some can get it while others cannot.

The first time I ever saw him was doing movies on Sean Cody. I was in San Diego in February and actually had an appointment with him. He was extremely nice and very into it sexually. I would have seen him again if work hadn't intefered. I would totally recommend him. Think he primarily likes to bottom, but he was a top with me. I also hired Ryan Rose last winter in San Diego. He was an excellent bottom for me. Several of the porn actor/escorts I've hired have been a disappointment. It would, however, be inaccurate and unfair to stereotype all porn guys as being mediocre escorts. Some are terrific rentboys...and Ryan is among the best I've met.

I set up three different appts with him in Lauderdale last week. He no-showed all three times. I met him at Boardwalk several times and he is very pleasant and way gorgeous....but can't figure why he flaked out so often. Very disappointing....

Well he was traveling with a rather large entourage, and I got the impression that it was "Party" central. Only an observation. He could have gotten (ahem) sidetracked. I hate no-shows. A call and an excuse, however lame, is better than leaving the client trying to guess what happened. :(

I totally agree....if he had replied to any of my texts or calls, I would have been a lot more understanding. He is clearly a nice kid in person, which made the no-shows even more frustrating.

interesting..... and for the record there was NO comparing of apples and oranges by me as one of my detractors accused me of. Ryan has every right to charge what he can get. I just correctly stated that MOST clients wont pay that for Ryan Rose of even Ryan Phillipe for that matter. lol . As far as the no shows are concerned we have all had our bad days so lets show a little grace cause the kid seems real nice and fucking adorable! MY issue would be the violence and the "party " atmosphere. Partying is why I stayed away from big time porn when I was a puppy. To be sure there were dozens and dozens of offers but EVERY porn star I escorted with in the early part of my career was hooked on illegal drugs of some sort (usually coke). It killed their cock and they would call me in last minute to top the client that they could not perform for. Some of these boys are now dead or in jail and it is so fucking sad! I lost my second bf to the world of cocaine.........that is why I turn down ALL illegal drug calls no matter how much money is offered (with the exception of weed which I consider harmless)

I know that things come up and I understand (Chase Hunter bailed on me last minute on the same trip, but at least he told me what happened...I am a long time client). But to not have the courtesy to call or text on any of the three different occasions is unacceptable to me.

 

I think planetjockboys needs to make some serious changes to their booking system. Adam from PlanetJockBoys basically is doing the same thing to me here in NYC this weekend. Unless this guy comes thru, I'm done with them for good (which stinks because I'm a huge fan of Tyler from PJBs, but between Ryan Rose and now Adam, their guys have blown off 5 appts).

 

 

AND just to be clear, despite the fact that he and I had a wonderful time, I side with you Dchotasianguy. In my opinion, unless someone is in the hospital, there is no excuse for a no-show, much less 3 times...

Update: Adam finally got back to me to say he had overslept....Still not sure if it's going to work out though....he was at least a lot more apologetic than Ryan was....

 

Well Dchotasianguy, this is your party, lol...so you can do whatever it is that makes you feel comfortable, but for me, oversleeping is not an excuse, in my eyes it is unprofessional. Now there are always extenuating circumstances, so you kinda have to go by your gut on this one. Good luck.
