Everything VA HAWK mentions is very true. Those clients who want to be kissed and who want to be held or who want to be able to see your expression (and vice versa) want a face to face position.

 

As for DaninWA's comment, there are ways to avoid the "numbness" in the legs problem. This is what makes slings and four poster beds desireable (not to mention great flexibility).
