Since moving to Chicago a little over three years ago I have traveled less and less. When I lived in Seattle I mainly traveled because I hated living there and needed a break from the constant wetness and cloudy skys. I did travel last Oct (Denver, Vegas and Long Beach) and it was a total bust. I am glad I wasn't relying on "working" to cover the expenses. So now if I travel it is usually covered by the client. It doesn't pay any more to travel on my own any more. If I make a weekend trip to Milwaukee, MSP or some where in Michigan I might post it but usually just avoid it.

Hugs,

Greg

That's what I'm starting to come to myself...Unless you either have an RV or a place that is paid off. If you're nomadic, you can travel wherever and be in good shape.

Sometimes I wonder if these cities really 'suck' so to speak, or is it just the timing is off? I think maybe if one were to live in a city or be there for a long time things would be different. When you're traveling, you only have 3-5 days to be sure all the available clients can meet...and it's just not enough time in many cases.

But, I firmly believe it's becoming less and less worth it to travel around America. Again, it's no direct comment on the cities themselves, just that when we're discussing traveling for sex work and making revenue...the choices are narrowing out. Most of the major cities deemed good, are being visited by 50 million other guys the same time you're there.

I have been planning a trip to San Diego now for the past month or so. I advertised on most all the major sites. I also advertised on non-pay dating sites for myself to hookup just for fun. I was happy with the guys who messaged me on those sites, but the escort sites I didn't get the level of firm appointments booked so I ended up cancelling it. I should have went and hitch-hiked on a boat to Australia.

My desire to travel though is more to do than making profit. This simply helps me to be able to do it. I can't stand staying in the same place month after month, year after year seeing the same old people doing the same old things. Guys I come across think they are depressed because their on anti-depressants. No, you're depressed because you've been here all your life and can't even get away for a change.
