Scam? Or could this many young guys actually be visiting San Francisco this weekend?

Unless there's some sort of twink convention in town, it just seems unlikely to me that so many guys in their late teens/early twenties would be visiting San Francisco at the same time.

It is a scam. They are also advertising on Backpage in SF. Friends who live in the Bay area tried contacting : Ferrerianton who insisted that his cousin also be included, when the client then said that he wanted to meet for coffee first in front of the hotel to verify who he was dealing with, Ferreroanton (or whoever he really is) told my friend to "move on"

Typical "bate and switch"

I must join the chorus about plenty of forum talks about this 2 guys specially. I'm glad we are warning other guys who don't go online as often as we do about this scam artists.

The same old pictures about Anton Ferrero and Dexter, the only difference is that they had to move from http://www.men4rentnow.com to http://www.adam4adam.com and I already saw one of them on http://www.backpage.com. I guess the "Keith G." men4rentnow administrator was informed about them or they simply can't afford $100 or $120 for each advertisement.

So what exactly is the scam? They will rob you if you show up?

According to the postings on other forums, they don't look like their pics, they are old or stolen pictures.

They offer you a massage and if you want a bj, anal, etc, you'll have to pay more. They are called "a la carte escorts".

I'm sure as soon as their scam stops working they will turn to violence, as told on here over and over again, don't meet new or "unreviewed" (I'm aware is not a word) at their room. Caveat emptor.

"All fakes, one time when they were advertising in San Diego, I went to their hotel. They took awhile to answer the door and when they did the room was very dark, the blackout shades pulled and no lights on, but with the light from outside, I could see that they in no way resembled the photos they were using. I immediately said no thanks and left."

This group of people have been a pain in my butt for a while. The problem is how to fit them in the system so that they're not a pain. The problem is that they don't have a home city and travel around. They change their names/phone numbers every so often. A lot of the time their pictures are phony.

I don't want to set their location to "World" as that's reserved for a few escorts that have claimed that distinction since Hooboy times. The thought that came to me last night was that I could create a new location "Varies."

The implication is that you would only be able to search for them by name. I believe that they would still show up via google.

The questions would be:

1) What qualifies a person (i.e. a Review page to be set to "Varies?")

2) What disqualifies a person (i.e. The Review page to be set to a specific location?)"

3) How to I handle the photos which have a high probability of not being representative.

3) How to I limit abuse of the category?

Your comments and suggestions are welcome; Nasty cracks will earn a instant time-out.

(p.s. It's not my job to create a rogues gallery. We've been there, done that, it didn't work)

How to post reviews about these guys is a dilemma. Since they're using fake photos, it probably isn't wise (or necessarily even useful) for you to post those photos here in connection with any reviews. I suppose it's easy enough for them to simply change working names and phone numbers, too, if they notice that negative reviews have been posted that flag their current info. Still, it would probably be useful to post legitimate reviews you receive by people who've met these guys -- whether they walked away because of the misrepresentation or went through with the appointment anyway -- using their current information in a "Travelers" or "Varies" location.

What about having a "sticky" thread in the Deli section that generally describes this group's M.O.?

I totally agree, let the buyer beware where this group is concerned. Stay far, far away.....

What if instead of just complaining all of us collectively decided to fight back. A former banned member here and good friend of mine, ran into this group of roaming scamming gypsies. They came to his town and after almost falling for their scam, I say almost, he sent them on a wild goose chase. Not only across town, but to an area where it would be almost impossible to get a cab back to where they were staying.

Then he contacted them, and warned them that he would not let up until they left town and never came back again....."Not here, not now, not in my town"....he warned.

WHAT IF, for once we all in our own way, harassed those assholes that are laughing behind our backs and making a mockery out of an industry that we all enjoy.

WHAT IF, we said enough is enough and stopped being afraid of what they might think.

WHAT IF, we stop at the door and don't go in when the face doesn't match.

WHAT IF, instead of just seeing these 'un-reviewed' escorts sight unseen, we just said, "How about coffee first" as this former member did, and he was told to "Move on" which avoided him being scammed.

WHAT IF we for once, we get mad enough to fight back.....and for starters, come to the Message Forum and warn your fellow members, AND perhaps Daddy will find a way to post a section that lists these scammers, and we can 'call them out'

Be careful out there gentlemen. Trust your gut when all those 'red flags' go up, and always think and act with the big head first.

Regards, BVB
