Obviously, the topic of HIV status (and sexual practices) is both sensitive and controversial. I'm negative and won't bareback in this all-too-imperfect world. But I've noticed ads for many a desirable escort who's barebacked on film. Which makes me wonder about hiring protocol....

Aside from the buzzkill factor, is there a discreet way to inquire about HIV status (actually, is discretion even advisable, LOL)? How trustworthy would the responses be? Would you simply strike these escorts from your to-do list, even though they might only have filmed 1 or 2 BB scenes as top (and were rigorously HIV-tested by the studio)?

Would love to input from both escorts and clients on the subject. Thanks!

Why does it matter? In the event of an accident... But I suppose the "safest" policy is not to hire an escort whom you know has barebacked. Unortunately that discounts a goodly number (including many hotties)... But it still raises the issue of broaching the topic to escorts.

I have been, as I already stated... I don't know why you're being so belligerent. IMHO asking how to broach the topic of HIV status with an escort, especially given how many have barebacked in porn, is a legit question. But thanks for your replies.

Ask for a copy of their recent test results. This assumes they would allow you to see their real name and if you are comfortable it is not a forgery. Of course they may expect the same of you. Personally I never ask as I can not guarantee the response is honest.

In my mind, risk is equal if the guy who fucks me:

-says he's HIV+

-says he's HIV-

-was never asked

...regardless of whether I have seen videos of him barebacking as a top, bottom or both. In terms of status, the only one I'm sure about is the guy who says he's HIV+. He's far less likely to be deceiving me. Man, though, wouldn't it be great if any one of these guys were on top of me, howling in pleasure as he cums heavy and deep, so lost in the pleasure of that feeling.

Sigh.

That's what I have bareback and condomless straight porn for.

Why be discreet when discussing sex? Are you discreet when you inquire as to whether he is a top or bottom? If you want to know his status, ask him like this:

"Hey, here's a quick question for you. What's your status?"

If he gets offended, you might want to move on.

...In terms of status, the only one I'm sure about is the guy who says he's HIV+. He's far less likely to be deceiving me....

I am glad I'm not the only one who understands this. Thank you for saying this!!

I agree with Nvr2Thick-I think this question is redundant, as you should surely assume any escort or casual sex partner could be HIV. They may either lie, or be ignorant of their status-just because you havent seen them BB in a porn movie is no indication of their status or what they do in private without telling you. I assume it is MY responsibility to be as safe as I can be without abstaining from sex.

I don't ask either, because I have no confidence in the replies, and I act as though everyone is positive.

While it's legit, it's also considered a no-no to discuss. Guys who hire here would rather not think that their golden boy is infected. Several of the name escorts here have worked in bareback video, which leads me to believe certain things about their self respect or health status. I'm willing and hoping to be wrong about all of it, but to me, doing something to incredibly irresponsible in such a public way is crazy.

That's a great response. Of coarse the OP doesn't care how fun, honest, or decent they are. He just wants some secretive magical way of rooting them out so he doesn't have to deal with it. The secret is that there is no secret. Just deal with everyone the same.

Guest countryboywny

People who are sex workers or porn stars are naturally at higher risk of contracting an STD simply because they have sex (a lot) more often and with more partners than the general population. It is very disturbing to me when I see an escort advertising that "anything goes". I feel bad that he feels it's necessary to risk his life/health to satisfy the fantasy of some clients. I recently dropped a guy from my list because he advertises "safe sex only" on his escort ads, only to advertise "anything goes" on an adam4adam ad. Breaks my heart.
