It's a given that many (but not all) escorts lie about their age. ;-) I once saw an escort who I later found out had subtracted over 5 years from his real age, but he truly looked his advertised age.

When I consider hiring, age is a major factor for me. If an escort advertised "20's", I'd want him to be more specific. If he tells me he's 22, I'm smart enough to consider that he's really maybe 25 or so. Likewise, if he tells me he's 29, I'm prepared for him maybe really being in his early 30's.

My point in this post is that, while I find the new review format mostly a major improvement, I think the age range by decade is a major step backward, particularly for "20's", since most escorts either are or advertise that they're in their 20's. For me, there's a BIG difference in being told an escort is 22 or 23, versus being told he's 28 or 29.

I wonder if anyone else here agrees with me. Hopefully this post will generate some specific comments/suggestions that can be forwarded to Daddy for his consideration as he implements the site improvements.

Finally I hope this post does not get moved to Daddy's Place where hardly anyone will read it or respond! x(

There are two pieces of information you need to know about an escort's age:

- what age they are

- how many years they have been that age

LOL...absolutely, but do you think the age ranges in the Reviews should be narrower for guys in their 20's? Like maybe, 20-23, 24-26, 27-29, or just a return to a stated age, with an option for the client to tell us how old he thinks the escort is (my preference)? If you agree, this may be our chance to make our case for a change! Tell us what you think. ;-)

Thanks for your support, Chuck. :)

BTW, that comma key is 3 keys to the left of the right Shift key. :o

(Inside joke). :+

I like that suggestion, but I think they should have maybe two age categories, as most escorts advertise their age on various sites or their own web page. Why not a category for advertised age, and one where you just type the age you think? I really think breaking down the age into such a wide range of choices would really be tedious to maintain and of little benefit. I mean can you really look at a guy in his early to mid twenties and say well he was 23 not 24? And who would need such a narrow category range? I never could understand the big deal with a specific age range in personals (e.g. 18 - 25) as if some guy was God's gift to gay men and he was 26 rather than 25, you would just outright dismiss him? I know I wouldn't!

If the site wants to keep age ranges I would suggest: under 20, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-40, 40's, 50's (do escorts go that high)?

I agree. For me the question is whether the escort can credibly appear to be the claimed age. In my experience, few guys over 25 can really pass for early 20s in terms of physical development or emotional attitudes. That said, I think the new system has some merit in that so many escorts reviewed here have been 22 or 24 for the last decade so there really is no point putting that down. I see the "20s" designation as a way of outing them in terms of their age.

First-- "...(do escorts go that high)?" Yes, I can say that they do from what an escort told me some nine months ago. He advertises as being 42 or something in that range. While he dressed-- he discussed his future plans with me and stated that he was 56. Actually, his real age didn't matter to me, for I truly enjoyed his maturity and expertise. He had a big thick cock and fucked in such a manner that he was the first man to reach my "g' spot! He also used a female condom which enabled him to get to the root of the stimulation! My, my nips are getting stimulated, and I'm getting a slight boner just typing this!

Second-- age matters to me; I don't care too much for early 20s but mid to late is great, and it all boils down to experience, but I don't like it when a person says he much younger than he really is yet "father-time" reveals that he's much older! These men should lie just a little, not a lot, my mature man exempted, for he was in tip top shape, and his physical being didn't reveal that he was in his 50s!

Axe, I'm with ya totally, but if an escort is reviewed in, let's say, 2001, with a stated age (or client-guessed age), we can all do the math for the time difference when we consider hiring, right?

I like Rick. I nominated him for Mayor of Hooville. :p We exchange occasional emails.

This thread is not about him.

While it may not be about age, I think we should have a better choice on here. I had a wonderful conversation with a world class escort on Sunday. Marco from France where we talked about this very subject. It really is about treatment and personality and class that makes it happen. Age is what we blame it on. If an escort is consistently nice, great to be with, and not to mention fun in bed. Then he will go beyond age and so will we. HUGS Chuck:P :p :P

Thanks Chuck, but try to focus here. The issue is, what can we find out about an escort's age, even if he's lying? Are we content with only knowing that an escort is in his "20's" ?? Remember, age isn't the only criteria provided when reviewing an escort.

Well, I think you stated it very well Chuck! Sure most of us are not fooled by someone 29 trying to pass himself off as 21, but why would anyone be so particular that an escort who is 23 feels he has to pass for 21? What does that say about the shallowness of the client? And I really don't see how anyone could tell that without checking id. To have such narrow 2 to 3 year range categories is pointless, as imo, for the under 35 escorts a 5 year range is more than sufficient.

Although, currently, but certainly not always, I prefer guys in the 20 - 27 range, I would not hire someone just because he is 21 over someone in their late 20's to mid 30's who has rave reviews and is the type I like to be with. IMO, life is a smorgasbord so why limit yourself to the same course every time you dine. :)

I like this idea because as I said the basic idea is to have a sense of who you are hiring. For instance, if you want someone smooth, in my experience, it is less likely to really be the case over 25 so having an estimate of the real age is important. And ditto if you don't want someone jaded. That does not mean that you can't have fun with someone older, but if I want an apple, it does not mean I also want a pear even though they are both fruits!

Since I started this thread, can I just ask a simple question? :)

Who thinks the 20's age range works OK for the new Review format?

Conversely, who would prefer a more "age specific" category?

Posted

I have said it before and I will say it again with or without commas. I don't like the formatted age category, ten years is to much, what else do you want me to say? I was trying to make light of age not being so important, it is the person who is. BUT I AGREE with you that it is too broad here. HUGS Chuck:P :p :P

] OMG! It was a simple question. :7 But I'm glad you brought it up, as it's been buggin me for a while :(

And I agree, let's go back to the specific age which the reviewer writes in.

When I review, I will make a comment as to whether or not the escort appeared significantly older that his stated age or if his review 2 years ago had the same age, but my vote here is

GO BACK TO STATED AGE!

--I mean what can it hurt and why use decades in the first place? :+

I think a few emails to Hoo might bring his attention to this issure :)

Chuck, in this case your HUGS and your vote suffice!! :+ I was just havin some fun with ya. Hope you understand!! ;-)

Flower, thanx. This issue has been floating around ever since the new format appeared. "A few emails to Hoo" won't cut it. Seems to me that we need a solid vote here.

Everyone else....your votes please?

It's simple: (a) do you like the 20's age range, or (b) would you like it more specific?

Posted

OK, OK, I'll vote already. I definitely prefer specific ages (even though I realize that they are inaccurate) but would settle for narrow ranges if needed. I also kind of like the "advertised age" and "estimated age" concept as a separate piece of information rather than having to cull that out of the review (if it's mentioned).

In the end, it's the escort as a person (and certain of his physical characteristics -- I'm a sucker for a cute/handsome face) that sells me on someone, but age is something that helps me evaluate compatibility with what I'm looking for (both in terms of physical attributes and the intangibles). Right now, I like guys who look like they might be in college or working their first job afterwards, so age plays a part in my hiring decisions (being closeted and having my first experience with a guy when I turned 40, I guess that I'm still trying to make up for lost time).

In evaluating guys with the new format, I now have to supplement the age range in the review with other "age" clues in the review and any ads/pics I can find of the guy to determine what age I think he is, and I add that info to all of the other things that I look for (cute face, great personality, oral skills, etc.). It's all about perception anyway -- at least until that first time that you hire a guy and find out how the chemistry is.

I agree that the escort's stated age should be put down. Although most escorts seem to lie about their age, at least they'll have to be consistent (i.e. not stay 25 forever). I also think that pictures should be dated. Even better would be an option for escorts to verify the dates the pictures were taken. Not all escorts would avail themselves of that option, but at least it would give some credibility to those who chose to vouch for the date a certain picture was taken....

An Age old question

Good question.

I actually get asked all the time what my 'real' age is. I'm thirty... erm ... something: ) ok ok I'm 34, but only 12 at heart.

Anyhow, the problem with the age on various sites, is that most of these escort sites do not update information. Therefore it's up to the escort to either email the webmaster or log in and update the information themselves.

Sounds easy? Not so, a lot of escort website owners, never respond to emails, most sites do not allow the escort to log on and make changes. Also, if other escorts are like me, they are listed on so many sites, that they can't even remember where all of them are. So even if an escort is adament about updating their information, chances are there will be some sites out there with the 'old' information and stats.

Hope this helps to clarify.

Matt(ageing gracefully.... ok that's a lie, I'm kicking and screaming the whole way: )
