South Florida overnight ideas

Planning a trip to Fort Lauderdale/Miami area and looking for suggestions for an overnight companion. Had a great overnight with Brandan Steele the last time I was down and spent some time with Adam from Ft Lauderdale as well. Sorry to detract from your request for information, Mac64, but I wanted to respond to this.

 

The drive to Fort Lauderdale is 3 hours one way from Orlando. If a client is requesting my services to travel that distance, and has no references (from other escorts, participation in the forum, etc), I would be a fool to take the risk of experiencing a no show. It's not a little much, but very reasonable. You would have to understand this from the experience and perspective of an escort who has been in this business for a noteworthy length of time.

 

I know that there have been many threads regarding paying an escort in advance. It is always fair for the escort and the client to have equal footing regarding a prospective get together when there is an obvious risk involved. Making industry rules from the perspective that keep the escort in an inferior position, as opposed to sharing risks mutually, will only lead to inferior escorts and an industry that attracts people who treat escorts with disrespect.

 

Paying half my fee up front in a situation like this is at my discretion and the discretion of a potential client. Trying to decide on industry standards is not up to one person in these forums. And, Jimboivyo, I don't mean any disrespect in my response to your comments. I just wanted to share something from a different perspective.

I also live in Florida (southwest florida) around Naples. Many of my clients are in Tampa (2 hours) Orlando (3 hours) or ft lauderdale (2 hours). Obviously I spend alot of time driving. In my experience I have not had any not be there or stand me up. I have been very lucky. I do not use paypal. I completely understand Michaels' situation. That's it, just 3 hours? I need to move back to Florida. Driving 3 hours anywhere out of Denver is like half the time it takes to get places. 1/8th of the time to most places. 13 hours of driving starts changing the scenary a little. I had to get 2 cars, one local...one for travel. And with TSA at DIA...1 hr of flying=10 hours of driving. Hell to the no. I'm more at peace behind the wheel.

 

I'm just being silly. I understand whatever someone decides they require for travel is soley up to them. The thing is, me driving 3 hours versus the next guy driving 3hours may be 2 different levels of inconvenience. 1 person may experience more inconvenience than the other (work, rental car, etc) for driving such a distance and factor it into the fee/deposit. If the guy is worth it, go for it. It's not reasonable to expect everyone to be given a baseline of what should be given for travel.

 

And some states tend to have more 'turnover' so to speak than others. If I was in an area where people were known to BS and jerk me around I would certainly request a deposit.
