According to Towler Road, Arpad Miklos has committed suicide.

Arpad Mikos (aka Peter Kozma), a NYC-based gay adult film actor who appeared in more than 58 films, took his own life sometime on Sunday. Howard Bragman spoke with writer Randal Lynch and broke the news on his web show Gwissues.

Miklos, who was discovered in Hungary by Kristen Bjorn while working as a chemist, did charity work and also appeared in a 2012 music video for "Hood" by the artist Perfume Genius.

 

He was 45. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family.

I am so sorry to hear that. He was one of the first guys I ever hired. I saw him not too long ago at a party. He seemed a little "off" but I didn't think anything of it.

Gosh, that's so sad. I was just thinking the other day how much I envied him (or really just anyone that strong and good looking and sexual). But you never know what someone's life is really like. Another lesson that you just can't go by outward appearances and the mere surface of things.

 

And on an admittedly very petty note, I'm sorry because he was on my wish list on guys to hire.

Wow what a sad news!

I hired him once a couple of years ago, I went to his apt in the lower East Side. For some reason we really clicked, I had a fantastic time, and I think he had a good one too...

He had a "free" ad on Manhunt and from time to time we would just chat a little, he was always nice.

I don't want to do cheap psychology, but I always thought he had a little of a "sad" look in his eyes. Of course I would have never imagined.

What sad news. I am always appalled when I realize the death toll in the porn industry. Just within the last few months Eric Rhodes, Josh Weston and now Arpad Miklos have died. I don’t know if it is the drugs or the general life style of the porn world which appears to feed on its participants but it is truly unfortunate, upsetting and more than a little shocking.

At another site at which I found out about Arpad's death, I wrote that his passing is oh, so sad--especially the manner in which he died.

I'm really shocked and saddened by this news. I really just got to know Peter this last year, even though we have exchanged emails over a client years ago. I actually invited him to my Pumpkin Carving Party, but he was busy. He was such a wonderful and cheerful man when you would see him out. He always would make fun of me getting frozen drinks instead of a beer. I would always tease him about being too big for my girl drinks. He was always quick to laugh and was glad to take a picture with anyone that would come by. He was always very quiet at the gym and at some point last year decided to go to a non-gay gym so he could do a workout without everyone glaring. It makes me realize how fragile we all are no matter how hairy or macho or muscled. It makes me realize that I should reach out to guys that I like to know a little more without worrying about if I am in their league. Everyone wants to be included and loved for who they really are and not necessarily the persona they put up. Arpad (Peter) Rest in Peace. No one can ever say anything bad about you that will change my love for you as a person. The way you treated clients or friends or people standing next to you. Big KISSES sweet man....I will miss you dearly.
