Bitchslaps are still available for the asking. You're showing all signs of needing one.

Now, do you respond "thanks, I needed that" or do you respond "please sir, can I have another"?

The Long & Winding Road...

Great Post Chuckster :)

As with most things in life, this board has it's normal ebb & flow and right now things are starting to settle back down to some sense of normalancy. With the barrage of emails, postings and general chaos, we've all become a little bit on edge, which is why i've stayed away from posting for a bit. Best not to say anything you'll regret or that Karma will kick your ass on later ;)

Thanks to those of you who kept control around here~ I know that HB's had a tough time (as have all the moderators) of governing this thing we call the MC. It's not an easy job. His late nights of work make this place both informative & entertaining for us all. It's no surprise that he's always the first one to get flack since he's the 'king of the castle', but every now and then he needs a pat on the back. Great job 'harmless kitty' :)

Warmest Always,

I think one would be taking this place a bit too seriously to let some nasty postings put them "on edge". Just remember that this isn't real life & you'll be OK. :p By the way, what is normalancy? I like it & plan to start using it. :+

Please speak for yourself. I don't see why anyone would be upset by the silly posts that started popping up over the weekend. This is a just a message board about hookers. There's no need to talk as though the posting of a few more childish insults (among the dozens that get posted here each week) is as serious as someone hacking into the Federal Reserve system. Try to keep some sort of perspective, will you?

To answer a rather silly question, I don't find it important. Nothing about this website is important. I replied because I don't like it when someone I've never had anything to do with purports to speak for me. The spamming that occurred over the weekend was indeed silly, but to say that it's something people should be upset about is even sillier.

> I think you're just an ol' GROUCH

I think you just proved my point about the routine posting of childish insults here. You call someone a grouch. The poster we are all discussing said Daddy has a voice like Carol Channing and deej has bad teeth. What's the difference between you and him? None that I can see.

] Do you even read what you write?

It makes no sense whatsoever, but it seldom does.

One thing is for damn sure, however, you take YOURSELF way too seriously. :+

RE: Lighten up woodlow

Thanks Flower & Hawkster :)

Lightening up is the basic vibe i'm trying to foster here. I'm just glad things aren't so damned hectic as the were earlier. It amazes me that people read into things WAY too much here and just can't smile once in awhile, laugh it off and go on with life. As Rick said, it's just a message board & not a sample (or scoop) of reality. Yes, words hurt when they're slung jaggedly, but i suppose it's my own damned fault for letting them pierce... Slowly but surely, i'm adapting. lol.

Stiff upper lip, eh? :)

Try to follow this, stupid. What's-his-name claimed that "we've all been on edge" because of the spamming that occurred here over the weekend. I responded that I haven't been "on edge" and that I think the whole thing is too trivial for the amount of comment it's received. What part of that do you NOT understand?

>One thing is for damn sure, however, you take YOURSELF way too

>seriously.

If I ever feel the need for your advice about my self image, I'll be sure to ask. The reason I haven't asked so far is that I really don't give a shit about your opinion on the subject. Could you follow that?

You are the one who first responded to my post, dummy, not the other way around.
