The whole place looks a little scandalous... But I love the website, they sure seemed to do a good job in spinning this apparent dump into something that it only dreams of being. Thanks for the research azdr.....

When I visited San Francisco about a year and a half ago, the only place I could get a room in the Castro was in what a local referred to as "the local no-tell motel", Beck's Motor Lodge. It was actually quite nice. Rates were VERY low for SF, so I opted for one of their largest rooms. It was clean, comfortable, free wi-fi - everything I needed.
