I do not comment on time outs. But, I would consider this post a first cousin to a blind item. I do not know what bigvalboy is saying...what's the point of this kind of a post?

Well I am totally confused (more so than normal) as I have no clue what BVB is referring to about unsettling news and if he is bidding adieu to the board or not. Hope he chooses to clarify.

I could be wrong, but I believe that BVB is not leaving, but instead is saying farewell to someone who was "un-Lucky" enough to be given a permanent vacation from Daddysland

Is this about Lucky? I see he is on Time-Out. If it is permanent that would be a shame.

 

I guess it is fair to speculate. It sounds to me from BVB's initial post that perhaps there are more than one who will not be returning (I would say either by their own choice or by being banned). It is likely they may be from the latest pool of members who were timed-out and might include Lucky, jjkrkwood (only one post since the time out ended) and Max (no posts since the time out ended). It sounds as though BVB has some inside info on this but perhaps doesn't want to explicitly say who he is referring to for whatever reason. That is fine but it is natural for us to wonder.

 

From my own personal viewpoint, I would be sorry to see any of these guys leave, if that is in fact the case.

Well, it's always a little sad to see someone leave.

 

In my time here I cannot really remember anyone being banned for life (I could be wrong but memory isn't what it used to be since the chemo). I do seem to remember some folks being timed out for a long while (a year?). It seems to me this may be a case of someone being timed out and deciding they will not come back after the time out is over and conveying that fact in a private email. I seem to remember that happening before.

 

I also think I remember some folks getting upset in the past and leaving on their own never to return, and then returning on their own later. Sometimes this is like watching the drama block on TV LAND. Whenever the drama gets to be too much for me, I always want to click over to the comedy channel. Oh wait, maybe they are the same thing? Memory?

 

In short, I hope whoever has decided to leave and never come back, will change their mind and come back once the time out is over and they have a chance to calm down.

 

i wouldn't want to miss any of my channels.
