Holiday gifts: cash versus a present?

Hi; how nice of your friend to want to give you a Christmas gift; that is fortunate. I'd just like a card I guess or something that shows, yeah I appreciate your every week business plus travel, cruise etc. I hope I'm not sounding upset, but maybe I am. I enjoy this person but as well as a hug during the night and in the morning; something special like, here's your card would be nice. Rocky

 

Rocky, expectations always "ruin the experience"... Dont think about it, and try to remember, its a "business", and while it may be a great business move to give a card, it may not be prudent it your guys case. Or perhaps he's just not a card giving type of guy ?

At this time of year I have always asked myself the same question. I have been getting regular massages twice a month for 6 years from the same massage therapist. Every year the question arises of giving a holiday gift. This year I sent him a nice card with warm wishes but no gift. I do give him gifts every once in awhile ( like if I travel and come back from someplace interesting)as he does to me. We do show appreciation of each other throughout the year. I find year indications appreciation throughout the year more satisfying than a one time holiday gift

Yeah, gifts throughout the year are nice. I do that too for one of my favorites whom i know fairly well... the others get a gift at year's end. Some send thank you notes; majority do not. I've never received anything from my guys though... i guess they figure they are generous enough with their time, which always extends beyond time allotted.

While visiting with one of my favorite dancers last week he presented me with a Christmas present, a frame box with a pair of his underwear and his picture, i love it.

 

I gave him a couple of gift cards, itunes and american eagle. plus a few extra tips in his shorts too.

Been hiring for many years and I've yet to meet one single escort who didn't appreciate receiving an extra envelope of cash to celebrate his birthday or the holidays.

In general highly paid business types give gifts to their clients and not vice versa. I have no expectations of giving or receiving any Christmas presents to or from an escort.

It is funny to read some of the posts in this thread. In other threads, it’s often argued that escorting is a business and escorts are similar to other businessmen. The norm is usually that if a gift is given, it’s the business that sends its clients a token of appreciation this time of year, not the other way around.

As previously posted I've given a few regulars small christmas gift but I've never had a client buy me a christmas gift. once a client tipped extra for my birthday.

Give the hard working boys some extra cash. Cash makes the world go around and they get to use it any way they choose.
