I guess I'm a little shocked that everybody seems to think that a strong mind is more important that an strong body. Have any of those expressing this opinion known anyone with a serious stroke, spinal cord injury, or significant neurological disorder? I'd rather be the biggest dumb-ass, whacko, demento in the world than some quadraplegic Christopher Reeve who can't contol his bowel movements, scratch his back, or get a hard-on. When I was a child, my mother once said to me "It may not seem that way to you now, but a healthy body is so much more important than a health mind!"

Someone's taking himself too seriously, here. I'm not criticizing the whole string. I'm just a little shocked that everybody responding seemed to think that a sound mind is more important than a sound body. Of course, there's a correct answer to a lot of these questions.
