I think it's worth noting that neither the admins nor Daddy have stepped in - the only complaints have come from members.

 

I guess that's because it's a members' dilemma. If any of my assumptions or reasoning are off-base, I happy to be corrected and be instructed about how this should work so that everyone is treated fairly. But right now, it seems to me there's something of an official information blackout on that particular scenario and the only options are going underground, so to speak, with the PMs or just not mentioning what happened to you in the future while others inquire about said escorts and have their questions left unanswered. And that seems to me, at least, diametrically opposed to the core purpose of coming here -- gathering information from other clients about making the best choices.

 

Knowing that someone vastly misrepresented himself in photographs or acted aggressively or threateningly or had a filthy apartment are all things I'd like to know about, even if an actual full hour of interaction never took place. I would highly value being able to avoid an encounter like that altogether vs. having to walk away from it once encountered simply because no one felt like they had a proper avenue to convey the information to me.

I had never really thought about this until now, but I do have a legitimate and earnest question about the proper way for this to be handled:

 

You answer an escort ad. You meet. You never initiate the session because of photo misrepresentation, sketchy behavior, body odor and/or really dirty living quarters.

 

Exactly how is one expected to convey this information to other members? As far as I'm concerned, it's something I would want to know. Just because I didn't lose the actual money to be paid the escort, there's the issue of lost time and lost money if you've traveled to another city to see him, etc. Some of us don't have the money or leisure time to waste this way. Warnings such as these, it seems to me, to go to heart of the purpose of the site. Chats about TV shows, celebs, hotels, traveling, photos of hot guys -- all that's nice, but info about this kind of thing is the primary reason to come here.

 

As for using the restaurant review analogy, if a reviewer showed up to a place and was expected to pay the bill upfront and then walked inside and there were roaches crawling around and the place didn't look anything like the photos on the place's website, I'm pretty sure there would still be a review even though the reviewer never ordered a meal.

 

Sorry to once again take this away from Thanos, but here we are. I would like to know how we're expected to proceed. It seems to me our hands are tied. Can't write a review because an actual full encounter didn't happen. And you can't talk about it here in any meaningful detail because it strays into review territory. Seems to me that kind of funnels the information flow toward the PM conduit or else we let potential shady operators continue operating because we can't speak of it as it falls into the "doughnut hole," so to speak.

 

Though I am accused of monopolizing this thread, I will reiterate what seek and DG have said. Admin as not responded so I am to assume that I did the correct thing. While clearly it is a gray area. I think that it is imperative that we as members warn each other of possible misrepresentation. That is one of the primary purposes of this forum. I am not the only one that had a negative experience with Thanos. In the past I have been warned not to hire escorts and masseurs from other members both publicly and via pm's. and I was very grateful for that information. For those that think that I had any motive other than to tell fellow members here of possible problems with this escort, is just ridiculous thinking.

 

And for those that question the way I handled my comments, it is interesting to note that the very next day, far worse things were said about another very popular escort, and the two members that most objected to me said nothing about that thread. I am left to assume, though it has been denied vehemently, that the negative reaction to my post was more personal in nature.

 

I do want to thank those members that supported my decisions and posts, both privately and publicly.

Hi- anyone remember me? It's been awhile. Don't ask. Job troubles. Probably career ending. I doubt I'll ever have the wherewithal to hire again. I hadn't even been looking at Daddy's or the Forum regularly things are so bad. But I looked at Daddy's the other day. And today 1st time maybe since last September I've been on the Forum. I'm not here to add to the controversy. I just have a question. Someone earlier in this thread said that Thanos had had bad or so so reviews on this site before. But I looked at all the reviews on Daddy's, and all of them there recommended him. Where were these bad comments/reviews - in the Forum in another thread or possibly another Review site. Thanking y'all for the info in advance. I'm not quite sure why I care- as I said I doubt I'll really be able to hire again or if I do- not for much longer. But I always liked Thanos' pictures. And I guess while it will only be my fantasy sex life- I'd like to know whether it is worth spending my fantasies on him.

Gar...LOL you are as they say a little late to the party. I have personal experience about Thanos, it is not good. I posted about it earlier in this thread and caught a lot of grief for it. Runthemhoes, also posted with personal experience and confirmed what I said also. If you go to M4M as Travis suggested you will see the negative reviews. There are three. Those three confirm what I said and that is he misrepresents himself. You need to be a 'premium member' to see those reviews. I did have a friend who saw him and didn't care that he was nothing like his pics, or the other problems that RTH had. Each to his own. I personally walked away. Good luck
