woo hoo. . . off the MTL next week (provided we don't go to war) How is the the club scene these days? Specifically, Stock, Taboo and the new one Nirvanna? Campus was never a favorite and Adonnis is hit and miss? Where are the working boys these days.

Chime in on the boys. . . not the politics.

What does going to Montreal have to do with the War unless you are in the Military and are called up. Life goes on the war is not in Canada. You can still have fun during war. Don't let them get you down. This is the perfect time to fly and go on trips wish I had more money to do it. Prices are a bargain. Unless you are scared. HUGS Chuck

Man, I love Montreal, and hope you have a great time!! Kind of cold this time of the year isn't it, but I'm sure you'll find something to warm you up. I'm chiming in not because I have any suggestions, but just to agree with your assessments of Campus and Adonis. Of the two, I like Adonis better. Lots of hot guys of all types who will come up to you and strike up a conversation and let you know they are available for privates at your hotel. That part I liked, but I didn't like the part where a dancer, who btw I was not the least bit interested in, demanded money from me because "after all I came over and spoke to you", but it was worth a few "cheap exchange rate" Canadian dollars just to get him to go away! :-(

As far as Campus goes, I will go there to have a cocktail, but no more than one, and I will never book another private dance there again! It is the only place I have ever been, that after paying $150 in fees and tips for a non-sexual private dance session, that my life was threatened for the mere offense of touching the dancer's cock. I'll never forget it and that was in 1997, which was several visits ago, and since then I have never booked a private at Campus. A paraphrase of the dancer's comments to me: "Well you have tipped me good, so I'll let you go with a warning, but if you ever try to touch my cock again I'll Slit Your Throat". I have two words for Campus and guess what they are not "Merry Christmas". Seems to me that the whole place is full of homophobic str8 men out to take the gay man's money. :-(

LOL, I speak the truth, but I guess Hawk is indeed in a pissy mood tonight, so if I offend, just ignore.

I too find the campus way too hard core and too many of the boys WAYYYY too agressive. And now that they let some of the "night time"dancers in in the afternoon(I have no interest in roided up gym boys)I find myself leaving after a very short time. There are some exceptions some of the old-time dancers are great there(patrick is a gem-and a great private)but I limit my time -and $$$ there now.

I really enjoy the Adonnis and the Nirvana.Nirvana can be dredfully slow sometimes-more privates for me Yay!And the "back room"can be intimidating to non-exhabitionist,but I have had boys give me their loads back there!

The Adonis fills a nice void between Tabboo(where I find the older crowd creepy and territorial)and the campus. The bar and wait staff have been SUPER friendly to me in the past(hi Laurent)and I can find what I am after without too much hassle.I usually have a great time there.

One hint, the saunas along St.Catherine all have really cheap day rates during the week(some on weekends)great place to take a boy or two or three,,,if you don't want to drag them back to the hotel or if circumstances prevent you from doing so.

Going back in May and I just cannnot wait!!!

Could you please give the names of some of the saunas along Ste. Catherine that have cheap day-time rates, and what about night rates? I usually stay at the Gouvernuer, but might switch to the St. Andre or Taj Mahal, both are far cheaper, if there were some place to take a "date." I've not taken anyone to either of the hotels mentioned, but speculate they might be more "prickly" than the Gouverneur. Anyone have any thoughts on this??

campus is not my favorite place but the afternoons are usually ok. I have no bad things to say about Campus... never had any problems but I have had some bad dancers -- caveat emptor. The same holds for other places too.

A older friend of mine loves Campus. He is pretty straightforward. His first time there he sized up the dancers and picked out the one he wanted. The dancer offered a private and my friend negotiated one -- up front. He set out what he wanted and what he would pay. No $10/song but a flat rate of $100 CDN paid at completion. He got what he wanted and was very pleased and didn't complain about being rushed. This approach avoids being strung along song after song and getting disappointed at the end.

Haven't stayed at the St. Andre but doubt you would have any problem taking a boy back. I have stayed next door at the Manoir des Alps and have taken several back with no problem. Never heard of the Taj. Where is it?

The Saint Andre and the Taj are VERY VERY budget tourist-read that as OK,but don't expect too much. The Gouverneur is overpriced IMO,and the staff does not know the meaning VIP guest-they seem to be ful of tour groups and CA government employees(who get a great rate)so they think that repeat buisness is not important. The Crown Plaza is far superior at about the same price. The Crown Plaza in MTL has a policy of beating the best internet price by 10% so you could do OK.

My suggestion of using TRAVELAXE.COM is helpful here-I booked a room at the crown and then called the crown directly.Result-a room for less than $1oo CAD after tax rebate.

The Saunas include the millineum and the bronx-there are a few others.

Oh,and by the way,The Bourbon complex has rooms and a sauna-but you won't get much sleep there :0)

If you want a fantastic fuck, hire Mike from Campus. You can see pics of him on their website under the night dancers. Great kisser; he's about 6' and has a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY BIG COCK - and I know a few things about the hugely hung. It's rock hard and plows til Sunday. Smart ass too, which I like. And his English be good.

Later.

PS. I'll tell you one secret to get in his good graces....his favorite burning muslim is Saudi. They smell like sulphur.

Yes it is, as is the Manoir des Alps. Bring your own soap and towels; otherwise the room is clean and the queen bed decent.

If I recall correctly, the chain is owned by the CA Gov't Employes Pension Fund as an investment vehicle.

Last week I booked the 3* Delta @ $31 US per night including taxes and fees for 3 nights in April. (biddingfortravel.com)

I have had L'Oasis on Ste Catherine highly recommended but is mostly frequented by younger guys I understand.

I hear it quiets down when the bar/club closes @ 3 AM.

The Taj Mahal is on St. Hubert--about a block and a half up from the Gouverneur. The bus station on Maissonuieve is right behind it. The rate the last time I was there--two years ago--was about $75 CDN. If you stay, be sure and ask for a room on St Hubert---if you get a room in the back of the hotel, you may hear buses all night. I know I did--they have that annoying beep, beep, beep sound when backing. Otherwise, the place is clean, close to Ste. Catherine, has a limited restuarant downstairs for breakfast (nothing like the buffet at Gouvernuer) and if you are lucky, you will see some interesting "street sights!" My first trip to Montreal was rewarded by looking out my window and seeing a fellow in a bed and breakfast stretching and posing in front of the window, starkers!
