Lighten up, no one says you can't post what you want. If you feel I am pompous, sing out, that's what therapy is about, sharing your feelings. Anyone who knows me, knows I have no reason to be vain, but if that's what you feel, then feel free. You are released. Welcome to the group, admission is free. But if you want real hackneyed, it costs extra.

This is in response to the many references on a number of different threads about the state of the board, the state of the union, our moods in general, the fact that SAD has begun to permeate our little corner of the world, and the fact that I have been back from my vacation exactly one week, and I am bored silly. So I going to do something that may get ripped down immediately, or may get booed off the board, or may get a few excited or who knows what reaction it may have. A number of years ago, when I was a younger man I had an experience that was quite a stretch for me and I wrote of it, using a little literary license, as a sort of "Jack Adventure". The event actually happened, I have embellished a bit (certainly in some areas such as measurements tho not much) and as far as the other guys involved, there isn't much embellishment at all. The question is whether anyone would be interested in reading a story like this. So if this is something that you guys would want to read (it is a little graphic as Les can testify because I sent him a copy) and if the powers that be determine that it doesn't violate any rules, I will post it and take whatever hits result. let me know your thoughts.
