No one guessed correctly because you're not supposed to see the digital watermarks. They are viewable at 300% and provable in a court of law, but you're not supposed to see them with any ease. If you have Photoshop, it's possible to find them. But without knowing where to look, especially if an image has more than one, the experience is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

 

So, if you're an escort who owns his own photos, there are two important things you should do to qualify for compensatory damages if your photos are stolen and you want to pursue legal action. (1.) Your images must be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, and (2.) Your images must be watermarked. The key to successful watermarking is concealment. But if push comes to shove, you have to be able to prove in a court of law that the mark is there.

 

Now, on to some of you other guys who were brave to test your vision.

Sorry. Not sure what to say about this bad call. I'm not a fan of changing face shapes. I always figure, if there's something about a face you don't like, photograph another.

 

On the other hand, eye plane issues are very common. The cause varies. Sometimes it's lazy face muscles, other times it's lighting, and other times it's optics. If it's a difference that stands out in a photo, and it looks odd, I say fix it.

The images were duped with identical data. I could have played with color tone but I felt that would have been unfair, since too many browsers don't recognize ICC color profiles, and those that do are completely dependent on monitor choice, and we all know two monitors of the same brand don't display identical colors. So, if the images have a different tone on your monitor, and it's noticeable, I suggest it might be time for a new monitor.

 

As for seeing "bottom" status, Lookin, your eyesight is much better than mine. I was unable to see the guy's hemorrhoids. :-)

Since there was a prize offered here from RH's special private collection of men - I thought it would be fun to see what would have happened if someone had been clever enough to view the RH watermark (#8) at a higher resolution as he stated. I gave up at 497% after it was supposed to be viewable at 300%. This is the #8 area at 497%. It's clear why nobody won this time.

Not all editing programs view 300% the same way. Not all monitors display images at the same pixels per inch. Granted, I stuck the "fix" number over the watermark without thinking someone would actually check for the watermark. The watermark is there. The point is I could prove it if I needed to do so, legally. The point wasn't to make it easy for someone to win a photo from my private collection, since this photo is already from my private collection. Duh.

As opposed to next to the fix, like you did all of the others. Yeah. I find the tiny size of that 8 rather dwarfed next to the size of that @RH watermark, but whatever. I happen to have a high-end monitor and high-end editing software. The watermark was not in the original photo.
