Today, I'd like to talk to you about the WURLINKLE. The Wurlinkle is a realm of imaginary characters along with the Heffalumps and others. These exist primarily in the imaginations of young and old people alike. However something is happening...

With the advent of such things as iPads, videogames and a myriad of other diversionary activities, the WURLINKLE is quickly disappearing. The fertile imaginations (which once were populated with these proud and goofy-looking beasts) are now being vied for by ANGRY BIRDS and the like. Sadly, the WURLINKLE can't speak but if it could then it might say, "Think of us "

Although many of you may have never seen or (heaven forbid!) HEARD a Wurlinkle, you can still hopefully appreciate the imaginative spirit that the Wurlinkle embodies. So take a little time today to think of the Wurlinkle so that they may live on to inspire generations of people yet to come!

Alas, dear gcursor, you speak too late for the marvelous Wurlinkle is no more! Sorrowfully I must report a careful Google search reveals that it left behind not a single trace, not in word, not in image.

The mightly Heffalump, however, still thrives so perhaps we should concentrate our preservation efforts there.

Pictured above is one of an enormous herd of 587 heffalumps known to have once raided Pooh's honey pot.

So is heffalump better than none at all?

It seems that, at the Circus, several odd things were happening:

Madame Zuzu, the woman they shot out of the cannon, had gained some weight. You might call her a woman of great caliber.

The Indian Rubber man and the Bearded lady got married. No one was exactly sure what their relationship was, but

most agreed that half a wife was better than no bride at all.
