I've only been to Nashville for a weekend wedding. As part of the wedding itinerary we took a tour of the Andrew Jackson's home Hermitage. As someone who enjoys history, I found it a great diversion.

Cracker Barrel is awesome.

 

The last time I was in Nashville, there were several clubs clustered together adjacent to downtown—once you cross over the interstate. This leads into West Nashville, and there's a lot of good indie restaurants up and down the main corridor.
