Ah, that's why I said "occasionally." Once in a blue moon, they make highly attractive, comfortable stacked heel slingbacks. The rest of the time, they make nun shoes or poor knock offs of trendy shoes.

(And I need comfort for work. Teaching involves a lot of walking around, and even in great shoes, my feet are incredibly sore by the end of the week. Of my colleagues, I'm the only one who wears heels at all.)

So anyone else? More new watches? Sexy brown Italian shoes? Are custom made suits worth the time and cost?

I'm a teacher. A love teacher.

The only new thing in my wardrobe this week are 3 pairs of "Metallic" flip flops (I had been searching high and low)..... Also a pair of leopard print "low" sneakers...for the Fresh fluff Feline in me....

Oops, had to edit this post to add the "assless" briefs by Baskit that just arrived from International Male.....

Leopard low sneakers? Could you show us?

And I have to hand it to JJ. The color was not only ivory, but almost a light yellow (despite the color being listed as "white.") It fit fine, but it wasn't outstanding enough for the price. That's ok; I got free shipping, and $6 return shipping isn't bad.

I may get this top, either in this color or white. With Nanette Lepore, I know their whites are actually WHITE. The model is listed as being very tall, so it will presumably come down a little lower on me.

Those are some hot shoes, JJ. But why are you calling them sneakers? They look more like booties.

I just got these. All the colors were sold out in my size but this one. I have to walk around for a while to see if they're comfortable enough.

I nice, sensible "Neutral" sling is a MUST have for any wardrobe. Be edgy and wear them with "anklets"....

Just bought this. I've been wanting it for a while, and then suddenly, the price got dropped to 75% off (plus free shipping) and my size appeared. The sweetheart neckline is just right, and if I'm lucky, those diagonal lines will make my hips look curvier.

Also, it's silk with a little stretch, which is always flattering.. (Contrary to popular misconception, a little spandex generally makes everyone look better.)

Oh, these two frocks are DEFINITELY more Freshie's style than mine........I'm too short (and too fat) for a sheath dress. Sigh.

See? I would have thought: "Oh, Tyro is a cross-dresser."

Try a frothy baby doll style with an empire waistline.. :o

Up to today, I mistakenly thought Tyro was male, when in fact she is not.

That's what happens when you miss the series premier.

You should have read the "Ask JJ" column.... :D

JJ, where do you get all this stuff?

Oh Fresh, its the "Fashionista" in me ! and although a forthy babydoll style would look perfect with some ballet flats, I would recommend a bit of a heel, perhaps in a Mary Jane style. to shape the legs.

FreshFluff, I love your style! The two dresses strike me as very Middleton -- the red one for Pippa, natch, the "tarty" Middleton, and the white for the very elegant and more demure Kate.

I've recently discovered the brand Nat Nast. Where has Nat Nast been all my life?? Forget Tommy Bahama (although I still love their silk Hawaiian shirts), I was born to wear Nat Nast! Conservative geek chic at its designer finest!!

The red dress arrived, and it looks fantastic. A great buy for $162 especially since it's silk. It needs to be hemmed as it's almost down to the knee, and the straps need to be altered, but that can be done quickly.

And thanks for the compliment, BSR! Frankly, the main difference between Kate and Pippa is that Kate is already married. Remember, Kate attracted her prince by wearing a see through blue dress at her college's fashion show.

I checked out Nat Nast. I like the slacks and shorts especially!

I agree 100%. Legs always look more shapely in heels, which is why I wear some sort of heel most of the time. But I prefer 3-3 1/2 inches over the hooker ones.

I thought I'd resurrect this thread. Anyone here buy a hot Speedo for an upcoming trip? I'm feeling too untoned for a bikini. (Why does that always happen when I'm about to go on a trip!?). So bought this one piece. I preferred the navy color, but it was backordered. :(
