You are correct, the two cities are approximately 90 miles apart. In most cities, the drive would take approximately 90 minutes. It can easily take 90 minutes to drive to the edge of metro Chicago, which is about 30 miles give or take. I agree with Sir Gallahad and recommend you go to Chicago when you want to hire.

Well kinda of an expert on the area and yes gentlemen will come up from Chicago and that is your only option, Raul for one. It is a bit dicey to get them to come up for anything less than 3-4 hours. Amtrak is good form of transportation and there is usually about 3-1/4 to3-1/2 hours to play with especially using airport stop and local hotels. Taylor lives a good distance away and takes almost 4 hours to make it down, he comes through Milwaukee on a regular basis to and from Chicago on weekends, he is a nice guy all top. I would suggest considering using the Amtrak and go down to Chicago and return, union station is about a mile from the Michigan avenue hotel stretch. You might convince a guy to come up but they are worried that you will be a fake and they just wasted a whole day or night and the cost to come up and go back home.
