Jonathan Groff - Miscast

Jonathan Groff ("Spring Awakening") is pretty damn good in the this six-minute song from "Anything Goes."

 

It's a 'Miscast' performance at a charity benefit, a role originally created for Ethel Merman, now sung by Sutton Foster in the currrent revival. So Groff would never be cast in the part (although who knows 5 years from now, or even next year).

Just tried the link again. The video is part-way down the page - after the 1 paragraph article.

 

Could you be having browser problems? I'm using Firefox.

I am also using Firefox, and it does not have a video. In fact, the story is only one paragraph.

Try http://www.playbill.com independent of my link. When I searched just now it was the second video on playbill's current home page.

It turned out to be a browser problem. 4 sites which had the video on its menu did not actually have it. So, I left Firefox, signed onto Internet Explorer, and there was the video on each of the sites which did not have it on Firefox!

I keep getting pop-ups to upgrade to the new Firefox. I haven't done it and am still 2-3 versions behind the latest. Perhaps there are problems with the new Firefox. Wouldn't surprise me.

I added the "Open With" extension to Firefox to make it easier to try pages in a different browser.
