Hi guys.I met a guy last Sunday at a regular hangout of mine(the spotlight in Hollywood)and he chased me for a change!I am totally out of it when it comes to Dating and such things in the Gay world of today.

I am in my 40's,heavyset- but keep myself well groomed,and am not one to fit into the WEHO scene(neither is this fella-who is very cute,rather petite and in his late 20's)And have a set of friends who that I hang out with almost exclusively.

This fella has a job and is NOT a sexworker-hustler.

I feel like a schoolboy!I really want a romance in my life,but I am so used to utilizing rentboys for my physical needs that I am a fish out of water in this situation.HELP!!!!PLEASE???thank you all.

I say go for it man, but take it slow and be careful. There are in fact, younger men looking for older and even heavier set men and maybe you are lucky enough to have encountered one! It really is scary when one has summed up his life and doesn't see romance in it. I did that as well. Then out of the clear blue sky (or was it the smoky haze of Ty's in Greenwich Village?) came the love of my life. But it took months for me to take it and him seriously and to return the affection. That's three years ago

 

Don't ever sell yourself short. Go slowly for sure, but don't frighten away someone who may have a genuine interest in you just because you closed up the love accepting part of yourself years ago. Even a rusty lock opens with the right key.

Just have fun and let things happen naturally . I have a few very hefty pals and they each have these very twink like boyfriends.

 

What strikes me as strange, once in a while, is that these twinks have no interest in what most would consider a hot guy.There is a huge group of young guys who like older and fatter men.

Romance seems to be my favorite topic nowadays. The guy I'd been with for months now are both enjoying the adventure of discovering each other. It was a good decision for us to take it slowly and enjoy the enriching process of knowing one another and affirming real feelings. There are other guys who are activly pursuing me right now but I am all focused to this wonderful and gorgeous lover of mine. I think once you meet this special someone, things just fall in there proper places. Life is good.
